The time showed that it was a little past seven at night. The outside was already blanketed in pitch-black darkness that was illuminated by the bright glow of the night lights.
The taxi car drove past the busy streets before turning to a more secluded and quieter area– it was so calm and peaceful that one might even start wondering if this was a place within the bustling imperial capital.
Except for a few vehicles passing by and some sophisticated buildings dotted along the way -most of them looking a little empty-, this area was devoid of any additional life or chaos, as was wont to do in other parts of the capital city. To be honest, it almost felt like a different world.
