Sometime later, Yang Jingshen was found leaning against the railing of the balcony in Han Qi's apartment while looking down at the scenery below. It was the 10th floor and the ground appeared quite far off, with the noises of the city barely discernible.
It was already getting late in the evening and the sky was quite dark, but the nightlights bathed the city in an array of colors, so everything was clearly visible. You could slightly spot people busily moving about like ants.
The roads crisscrossed below and were filled with slowly moving vehicles that streamed in seemingly endless queues. An equally uncountable amount of buildings were packed into the spaces in between; some were tall, others not so much. It gave off a cluttered feeling, especially since some of the buildings looked rather old and in disrepair.
