A few months would be a stretch, but then again, the rest was true, so it was like a white lie, no? "Also- I, um… learned a little bit of, um… this and that from someone else." Which also wasn't entirely untrue since he learned his street fighting techniques here and there from different people.
Seeing his evasive manner, the director and martial arts instructor both showed enlightened looks on their faces. They praised him some more before putting aside this topic.
It was clear they misunderstood what he said, but this was Yang Jingshen's intention from the start. He didn't have any complaints.
