The low-budget romantic comedy movie 'Stepping into the future' was supposed to be just another simple, romantic movie screened during the lunar new year season. Of course, it was supposed to attract some attention from the people who were enjoying their holidays and had more time at hand than usual.
The movie itself was family-friendly and can be watched by people of all age groups. The closest it comes to being even slightly scandalous was this one single fight of the gangster boss dad of the fourth female lead -which was included to have a comical effect than anything more action wise- and this one very chaste kiss between the two main leads.
Of course, the scenery was bright and beautiful and the cast members were all good-looking. The script was well written, the acting above average, and the editing commendable. But that was all about it… Or this was all that was supposed to be there about this movie.
