There was another group of people who were just as happy as the drama crew and investors of the web series 'Tears in the gold'. It was the staff of the broadcasting platform, Xingmu.
They had been in this business now for a few years, and what they had seen during this period was that the quality of work had slowly been decreasing. Many of the dramas based on scripts with high ratings would end up getting an overall lower rating in the end.
The cast won't be talented and the editing worthless while the stories were cliched and stereotypical. But, this type of work kept being produced everywhere and many people also kept losing interest in watching this type of drama and films.
But, producers and directors with even the tiniest hopes of getting some viewership would keep producing such low-quality work, targeting the section of the audience who were still willing to watch them. It was a vicious cycle.
