"Ate, do you have an ETA when you will be here?"
I called my sister back the day after the big news. I was still not sure if taking the kids with me was a good thing but, I guess I should not leave them here.
"Friday, Manila time," I replied while looking at the calendar of events we have at The Belle. "The Belle has no scheduled events for the next month. So, me and the kids would be there for maybe a month or so." I marked the date that we were supposed to leave and sent a message to Duncan.
After the man vanished from the living room, he called me saying he was at his house. There were some things that he needed to finish before we left for Manila.
