As soon as Isaac opened the door, a man the same age as him stood in front of his door. He had a long blonde hair, that he tied up in to a ponytail which complimented his sharp eyes and distinctive jawline. He also didn't fell short comparing to Isaac's height, he stood at 188CM.
Contrary to his appearance, he has an... interesting attitude.
"Yo!" Isaac greeted him with a smile while raising his hand, waiting for a high-five.
But a high-five didn't came, the man was starstruck at Isaac's appearance. And serious dangerous thoughts filled his head.
'Is he a celebrity? Damn, his hot! I wouldn't mind turning into a girl just to be with him—'
The man raised his fist and punches his face with all his might.
BAAM!
A loud sound echoed throughout the hallway, feeling a little dizzy caused by his own punch, the man shook his head and once again looked at Isaac.
"Why did you punch your face?" Isaac said, confused at the whole situation.
Isaac didn't notice it, but he had become much more handsome since becoming a vampire. This was really a bad situation for Isaac since he would definitely become a target for 'hungry' women.
"W-who the fuck are you? Why are you coming out of my friend's room, huuh?!" The man said while trying to act like a neighborhood street thug, although he is failing at it miserably.
However, the man wasn't so dense that he didn't have the thought that this was definitely his friend standing in front of him. He just couldn't believe it until he hears the confirmation straight from his mouth.
"It's me! Me!" Isaac said while tapping his chest.
"I've had enough bullshit of that 'it's me' prank! Now tell me who are you!"
The man then assumed a boxer stance, and ready to throw a punch the moment he hears something he didn't want to hear.
"James, you fucker... It's me Isaac!"
The man's name was James Walter, a childhood friend of Isaac. James and Isaac were so close that they are more like a sibling than their own sibling.
Even though James was attending the same school as Isaac, James was not a normal human. When James had his evaluation, it stated that he has the qualifications of an A-rank hunter.
James had the stats of a B-rank hunter, but this changed when it was known that he was a type of hunter that deals with transformation, that was why he qualified as an A-rank.
During his transformation, James would grow an additional half of his height and twice his size, his long blonde hair that reached his waist would turn into something messy, like a lion's mane. And his eyes would resemble like a reptile's.
But despite turning into a monster that is fit for battles, he didn't take the path of a hunter, he just took the evaluation test with Isaac for 'fun'.
That is why he's attending classes rather than attending at raid parties. He just wanted a quiet life, different from what Isaac wanted to do with his life but failed to do so because of his low ranking.
"So it really is you Isaac."
James puts his hands down and started circling Isaac. He looked thoroughly at Isaac from head to toe. And when he felt satisfied at what he saw, he then stood once again in front of Isaac.
"So what happened?" James said narrowing his eyes.
As a long time friend, James knows almost everything about Isaac. In this situation, James knew that Isaac will just lie about his answer, and only time knows when he would open his secret to him.
"Uh... uh... Puberty?" Isaac said nervously.
[Master that is such a lame excuse.]
'Shut up! I'm doing my best here!'
Clearly, Isaac wasn't doing his best at answering James's question.

"... Dude, you even said your answer as a question. Well I understand... everybody has their own secret that they don't want to share. School's starting we gotta go to our first class." James said, ignoring all of Isaac's changes as he casually walks away, leading their way towards their classroom.
Staring at James's back, Isaac couldn't help but smile. He really had a good friend like James, and for that, he was so grateful.
'Speaking of friends, I wonder how would they react.' Isaac thought 'Fuck... I forgot that I still haven't told my family about my changes... meh, I'll just say its puberty.' he quickly gave up.
"James wait!—" forgetting to control his body, Isaac quickly caught up with James, fortunately he didn't make any noise while doing so.
Before James could fully turn around to face Isaac, he could see that Isaac was beside him.
"?" James gave Isaac a questioning look.
"... Never mind... Let's go." said Isaac as he started to walk again.
"... Sure."
While walking down the school's hallway, heads would turn to look at Isaac, both males and females couldn't help but admire Isaac's beauty.
Murmurs started to fill the hallway. But as a vampire, Isaac could clearly hear what they were saying.
"So handsome~ Is he a transferee?"
"Isn't that James with him? Although James is handsome, he can't beat that guy's beauty."
"Ahhh~ I want to be eaten up by him."
"I think I'm getting wet~"
Most of the murmurs were, asking who Isaac was, asking if he was a transferee and complimenting his beauty. While other murmurs were full of dangerous thoughts.
'... Wis, why are they acting like that?' Isaac thought.
Seeing his reflection in the mirror earlier, Isaac knew that he became much handsome but he didn't expect the other students would react like that.
[Master was already handsome in human standards before master was turn into a vampire. Now that master turned into a vampire, master became much more attractive. The natural charm of the vampires also added to this effect.] said Wis
Vampires, a race known for their pale skin and unearthly beauty.
So what would happen to an already handsome man if he is turned into a vampire. The answer is, well, happening to Isaac now.
'Can I turn off my vampiric charm?' Isaac thought.
[It is impossible to turn off your natural charm master. The only way to get rid of it is to get rid of master's face.]
'...' Isaac had no more arguments. He didn't want to get rid of his face just to avoid attention.
Hearing some of the murmurs, James couldn't hide his sour face. He didn't want to lose his one and only companion in life. A 'virgin' life, he didn't want to be alone in this life, therefore he doesn't want to lose his only companion!
"Tsk! Tsk! These thirsty girls must keep their hands away from my companion." James silently mumbled.
But this didn't escape Isaac's ears, he heard James loud and clear, Isaac knew what James meant by companion and this made him smile.
James kept his distance close to Isaac but not too close because it might look gay at other people's eyes. He then throws a dangerous gaze at the onlookers, but contrary to his intentions this only made the girls shriek in delight.
"Kyaaaa~"
Both Isaac and James, silently decided that they should just ignore the commotion.
However, even arriving at the classroom didn't stop it. Feeling greatly annoyed at everything, Isaac decided to skip classes.
This was the first time Isaac have gotten greatly annoyed by something, he was usually calm, collected and he was the type to not care about these little things.
What Isaac didn't know was, for vampires, they feel emotions stronger than humans. This attitude is frequently being shown in televisions, and Isaac is now experiencing it first hand.
Although he doesn't seem to realise it, but he was clearly changing both race and nature. This may affect him in the future for the better or for worse.
[Would master like me to turn off master's hearing senses?] Wis kindly asked as to feeling her master's irritated state.
'No you don't need to do that Wis.'
He headed to the rooftop to get some fresh air, he arranged the things he needed to do.
Firstly, he needed to re-evaluate his class in order to access higher portals. Secondly, he needed to tell his family his circumstances. Thirdly, he needed to get stronger. It is better to prepare for the unknown than to be ignorant and pay for the price later. The stronger he is, the less his worries are.
A gentle breeze could be felt touching Isaac's skin, he closed his eyes feeling the soft breeze a little bit more before opening his eyes once again.
The moment Isaac opened his eyes, a voice came into his head.
[Master, an invisible presence has been detected. Would you like me to identify the entity?] Wis notified Isaac.
'No need... I know who it is' Isaac replied in his thought.
"You don't have to be sneaky James, I can clearly notice you even with my eyes closed." Isaac said.
With his heightened senses and with the help of Wis, James stealth failed to escape Isaac's notice.
"... I know, after all you called out to me without having the need to face me." James said as he stares at Isaac's back.
As soon as the words came out of James mouth, black smoke oozes out and slowly started to dissipate in to the air. This caused his veil of invisibility to cancel out and fully revealing himself.
James looked beastly in his transformed state. He looked like a monster that would pounce anytime at Isaac.
But this form didn't last long as he decided to cancel out his transformation and quickly returned to normal.
"Since when?" Isaac asked without looking at James.
James walked and stood beside Isaac as his gaze fixated on somewhere, similar to what Isaac was doing.
"The moment you came out of your room."
"I see..." Isaac inhaled deeply before continuing "I'm going for a re-evaluation and with that I'm going to fight monsters like what I've seen in television."
Hearing Isaac's words, a gentle smile appeared on James's face. The man beside him was still in fact, his good old friend Isaac.
James had his doubt the moment Isaac stepped out of his room. He couldn't forget the immense fear he felt from the moment he saw Isaac, all the hair of his body stood up and his instincts were telling him to flee.
James's beastly instinct has never been wrong, that is why when it told him to flee, he just really wanted to run off somewhere far from the dangerous place he was standing. But he couldn't, he just froze in fear.
That is why even though he was acting like nothing had happened, he didn't get rid of his vigilance up until now, now that he had confirmed that Isaac was still Isaac even though he changed into something James couldn't identify.
He was still and always will be his good friend Isaac. James let go even the slightest doubt in his heart and decided to just trust Isaac.
"Go for it, I'll be supporting you." James said, greatly encouraging Isaac.
"Thank you... Then, I'll see you soon~"
James could see the smile on Isaac's face before he jumped off the rooftop, quickly vanishing from James's view.
"I hope the changes in you brings only fortune, my friend." James could only mutter silently while closing his eyes, gladly receiving the gentle embrace of the soft breeze.

Isaac decided to stop at a store and bought a mask that only covers half of his face. And this was enough to hide his unearthly beauty, although he still looked like a celebrity while wearing this, it was much better than fully exposing his face which attracted more attention than looking like a celebrity.
Arriving at the front of a colossal dome like building, Isaac, no matter how many times he have seen it, still gives him the feeling of amazement. Hunter's Centre was the name of the building. This is where people who came for evaluation being evaluated.
The one that handles, the evaluation, the ranking, the giving of access to the portals, is an organization that are like the government in this supernatural era. It is called the Hunter's Association.
And besides it was a twenty-storey building. This is where the Hunter's Association resides.
Entering the hunter's centre, Isaac's view was greeted by a massive amount of people. Some were lining up to get evaluated, some were actively recruiting hunters in to their guild, some where showcasing their unique abilities in order to gather the attention of higher ranked guilds in hopes to get recruited by them.
Isaac swiftly darted to line with the least amount of people while smoothly avoiding some people, it was so swift that anyone below S-rank couldn't follow his movements.
Isaac patiently lined up to wait for his turn. He was ready to get re-evaluated.
Unbeknownst to him that a pair of eye was watching him from the moment he entered.
