Synopsis
It was an early Saturday like always Kara was exercising, Mara sat on her bed, her headphones on her head, her eyes closed as the music reached into her soul, Laura was downstairs in their living room, and books surrounded the table as she furrowed her eyebrows in anger having problems with her homework, Kara kept running and running in circles around their home, kara was tired but she kept running as she tried to shake off the memories of her sister, Inara, but the memories kept coming, take it anymore she knelt on the ground and started crying as she held her heart trying to ease the pain, Laura closed her book frustrated, she closed her eyes and remembered something, it was her sister, Inara, she was still young at the time, Inara was sitting on a bench with Laura, a book in between them, Inara patiently explained the problems to Laura until she understood, laura hugged her sister, " Thank you sister!!" " You're welcome" Inara replied, Lara had already started sobbing, snot already started running down her nose but she didn't care, she cried as she held on to the memory of her dear sister. Mara sat on her bed, her eyes still closed but this time tears ran down her face, her heart was filled with so much pain as she listened to her and Inara's favorite song, mara remembered when her sister hugged her in the middle of the night and sang this song when she had a nightmare. Kara, Mara, Laura, and Inara were quadruplets, their parents were poor when they were born, they couldn't take care of themselves not to talk of four children so they abandoned them at the orphanage, and they were maltreated in the orphanage, they would get little food, torn clothes, and dirty glances, the orphanages were full, the government refused to pay them and things were hard, they could not afford to take care of one more child not to talk of four, they disliked the kids and wondered why anyone should suffer with four kids when they only did the deed once, yet they had to take them in but they treated them like trash, Inara felt a sense of responsibility so she took care of her sisters, whenever they weren't full she would give them her food, help them sew their clothes, teach them their homework, train them to defend themselves, sing to them, play with them and more, she was their mother and father, she was always stressed but never showed it, until one day Inara fainted in the public school they attend, she was diagnosed with anemia, ulcer and a rare heart disease however the disease had no cure, she was given drugs for ulcer and anemia but her heart problem could not be treated, she didn't tell her sisters in fear that they would be worried. One day their parents came for them, they had already become billionaires and made it big in the city and came back for their children, they were happy none of them had been adopted and they could finally be a happy family but Inara had fainted at home two months after the adoption, the professional doctor that checked her told her it could be treated, the doctor continued saying " She could travel abroad to do the surgery and then recuperate for at least a year then she can come back", that was what they did, she left her family and went to the world alone, it had already been 4 years but she hadn't come back, no one could reach her anymore, her sisters thought she had moved on and left them until one day the head maid came in flustered, she shouted excitedly, "Madams, there's someone here to see you all!!", they opened the door and saw their sister, the one they hadn't seen in five years, standing in front of them, she opened her arms and said " I'll explain later, hug me first", they didn't hug her at first she thought they were angry but instead they all started crying, " We missed you!!!", they all chorused. Inara just giggled.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

They had all cried over Inara's return now they sat in the living room as they questioned her, "Why didn't you come back" Laura asked, Inara took a deep breath and said "I suffered from severe pain after the surgery, I also needed to recuperate and it took a year as the doctor said but I got into an accident around the ending of that period, a truck had hit my car and I couldn't walk for a while even after the surgery was performed, I only got better sometime around last month and I couldn't communicate because I was handicapped, I suffered from severe depression, moodiness and sometimes anger, I started yelling whenever I got even a little frustrated but I've seen a therapist, I've seen doctors, I'm healthy now so I decided to come back home, her sisters just listened to her story, as they stared at her they realized how much they missed her, she smiled at them and said, "How bout a sleepover?" Inara asked, the other girls were more than happy, that night their bond grew stronger, and they were content with what they had.

The next morning was a Sunday, usually, Kara would go to the gym, Laura would go to the library, and Mara would go listen to music in her room or to the studio but today Inara planned for them to all go to the waterpark, at first they didn't want to go but after Inara's begging they all gave in. Since Inara came back from the U.S she looked more pretty, ever since they were born Inara was the most pretty even in the orphanage but she didn't care about her face, Laura's face was mature, polite, and disciplined, Mara's was calm, serene, and smooth, Kara looked more boyish than the other girls, she was like a man with the beauty of a girl and the four of them were eye-catching, they had all finished their secondary school in the most prestigious university in the United Kingdoms, they were always courted by one guy or the other though they hardly paid attention to boys, many girls wanted to befriend them as well but they never let any other girl into their gang, they had a nice time at the water park, when they got home they saw their dad sitting in the living room, he looked up to see his lost daughter as a smile formed on his lips, "Hello Inara"
