'Mom, dad, I found something about my origin but not everything' Cian said during lunch.
'Okay?' Jade and Dan said together unsure of how to respond.
'I'm going on a trip to find out more and I might be leaving today' Cian informed his foster parents who were trying to hide their sadness but Cian was able to figure them out, 'But I found out that I have a twin brother' Cian said trying to cheer them up.
'How does he look like' Jade asked curiously
'Uhm, we are identical twins so we look alike but different personality and we'll be going on the trip together' Cian said making his foster parents face lighten up.
'Bring him here one day, I would like to meet him' Jade said happily and continued to eat,
"He wouldn't be really be happy to meet you too" Cian thought.
After lunch, Cian did the dishes and went to his room, where he found Asher waiting for him, he didn't mind and went to his drawer to pack up few clothes and other things.
'What are you doing?' Asher asked Cian
'What does it look like? I'm packing up my bags' Cian answered
'For what? Are you moving?' Asher asked hissing the worry in his voice
'Yeah, but in this case you'd call it moving in with you' Cian said looking away not wanting Asher to see the embarrassment written all over his face. After throwing a tantrum and forcing them to bring him back, he's still coming back to live with them. 'I know what you are going to say' Cian said as he saw that Asher was about to say something.
'What do think I'm going to say? I bet you won't get it' Asher said
'So you want to bet, on what?' Cian dared
'I don't want to but if you want to play, let me watch you sleep everyday' Asher suggested
'Creepy, once a week's Cian negotiated
'Deal, so?' Asher asked
'You were going to say you knew I'd come back, no? you were going to say that after all the tantrums I made I still came back' Cian answered hoping he was correct.
'You were only allowed one answer but the both were wrong, I wanted to say, thank you' Asher said making his last sentence almost a whisper.
'Oh' Cian said in acknowledging he lost, he never thought of that
'So you lost, deal is still a deal' Asher said, his face was blank of expression bit his heart did a happy jump, 'Deal is a deal' Cian repeated, the word sounded familiar to him but he didn't know why.
'I'm done' Cian said wearing a backpack on one of his shoulder,
'Is that all you got to gather?' Asher asked surprised to see the bag was so flat
'Yes, this is all I got' Cian answered
'You wouldn't need it anyway, just take the important ones' Asher said
'You should have said that earlier instead of putting through the stress' Cian grunted and started emptying the bag on the bed. it was really a few clothes not more than five pairs of clothes, among those pairs of clothes, a pair caught his eyes. it was a familiar hood, Asher picked it up the hood examined it, "Cian" was written at the back and "Clint" was written on the arm, the hood looked old bit clean and also small it was the hood Cian wore when his foster parents found him. Then it was the most beautiful thing ever and it looked bug on Cian.
'You remember this hood?' Asher asked
'I don't remember wearing it, but mum kept it safe because it was the only real thing that belongs to me' Cian responded.
'Then you only need this' Asher said putting it into the backpack and strapping it on his back, 'I can carry that' Cian said as Asher left his room through the window. Cian went back to the sitting room to bid his parents good bye till whenever he comes back' Asher opened a portal when they were far from human sight in the woods. They appeared in front of the mansion,
'Asher, are you back already?' Raymond asked when he saw Asher come through the portal, Asher stepped aside and Cian came into view, 'Cian! you came back' Raymond exclamated attracting Sean attention who had been focus on his book,
'Hm, I came back, where is Clint' Cian asked entering the sitting room
'He's probably still in his room staring at nothing' Raymond responded sadly. Hearing that, Cian headed up stairs to Clint room, he entered the room without knocking.
'Clint' Cian called to the person sitting by the window staring at the window post. Clint turned to the person who called his name, 'Am I seeing things now?' Clint said under his breath, too tired to speaking up, he drew closer and touched Cian's face then pinch his cheek to be sure it's real.
'Ouch' Cian cried in fake pain, the pinch was weak to begin with, 'Clint, it's me, I'm sorry, I left' Cian said cupping Clint face, they were the same height
'I'm sorry for being selfish' Clint said wanting to cry but all the tears had dried up on his cheek and his eyes had ran out of tears.
'No, it's okay to be selfish, you deserve it, I was only away a day but felt the emptiness you had had to endure for thirteen years, I'm sorry for not understanding you' Cian said pulling Clint into a hug, his head was resting on shoulder, 'Cian..' Clint called and got cut off by Cian, 'Don't worry, I have the bangles on I can't do magic, I will make it right and we will do all what brothers do' Cian said with assurance patting Clint's back.
There was a clap from the door, it was Raymond, 'This is the most emotional brother reconciliation I've ever witness from you two' Raymond joked,
'Ray' Clint called from Cian embrace before withdrawing and sat on the bed.
'What? am I not right?' Raymond asked nudging Sean who stood beside him Asher was also there, 'They never admit that they are at fault' Sean said trying to laugh but his face seemed blank.
'Shut up, let them be' Asher shuned holding back his smile, he wanted to tease them but he let them be.
'Clint, you need to eat, you look weak' Cian said taking the food Asher had dropped earlier on the study table, putting it on Clint lap.
'Eat and sleep, we are going to the shopping mall in the evening' Asher said leaning on the doorpost.
