"Little Kitty, how far can you make these things appear?" Kyle asked. Previously in the water channel, they didn't bother Kate to take care of these because it was more than enough to use what was there.
But now that they were outside the city, these resources would be scarce and they had to use Kate's ability.
Thankfully, Kate's space was so big that even after putting several thousand gallons of water and countless scrap metals, she still meowed that there were enough spaces. It seemed to be endless, though they knew that it was impossible.
There was definitely a limit.
"Meow?"
"Shall we have a little practice while waiting for them to finish?" Kyle asked with a faint smile.
"Meow?"
"You don't have to worry about me. My ability is already really good and I can eliminate them if these two are not enough."
"Meow…"
Kate really couldn't refute what Kyle said. He was also growing so fast even though he had two abilities. By now, it was clear that Kyle was definitely not going to take care of the lower level beasts.
He left them to Jake to try out various form of his ability.
Kyle smiled. "Try to take out an item to my palm."
Kate looked at Kyle's palm and imagined the item that she wanted to take out. Before long, a cup of noodle appeared on Kyle's palm.
Looking at the cup of noodle, Kyle arched his eyebrows. "Are you hungry, Kate?"
"Meow"
Kyle naturally didn't understand.
He sighed and waved the cup noodle. "Can you put it back into your space without touching with your tail?"
So far, their method to put items into Kate's space was by having her touch it with her tail. It was also because of this method that Kate was annoyed when Jake dumped a truck filled with scrap metals right in front of her.
Taking them all into her space would be very tiring, alright?
Kate looked at the cup noodle in Kyle's hand and imagined it back into her space. But no matter how long Kate stared, that cup noodle never moved.
"Meow."
Kyle nodded.
When he saw the cup noodle stayed in his hand even after some time, he had already guessed as much. Looking at Kate, he could guess that she was also not very proficient with this ability.
'Should I try to investigate more about the normal space ability users?'
There were naturally more than one space ability users in City A. The others were naturally humans as Kate was only an exception.
A very unique exception.
"How about if you put something on that chair without directly looking at where you put it and there's a barrier?"
"Meow?"
Kyle arched his eyebrows. "Try it."
"Meow"
Kate looked at the empty shotgun seat in front of her that was blocked. She imagined having another cup noodle appeared, but didn't really think that this will work. For some reason, she just couldn't fully imagine the location.
It was as if there was something blocking her.
"Dylan?"
"Nothing."
"Ok."
Kyle understood that it was still impossible. But from what he knew, Kate had already advanced majorly two times, which meant that she had already reached rank 3. How about other space users?
Were they also like her?
