Chereads / Yuke Contest 2 / Chapter 2 - Our fate

Chapter 2 - Our fate

"What's the matter?" King cut open a light ball and saw Grey running towards him suddenly fall down without warning, but the attack of the alien pupil boy was so dense that he could not get away. King curled his mouth and threw the Gungnier, and the golden spear ripped through the air and exploded the balls of light. Although he himself was inevitably bruised by some light balls, but one teleport, King had grabbed Grey's collar, throw Grey out of the circle, the other hand grabbed a horn, the owner of the horn was thrown back like a cannonball.

Lightness looks at his ice-covered arm and bangs it with his knee, not caring that his arm is broken. She looks up and casts a look like Ilia, who shakes his head slightly and jumps to dodge a bolt of lightning.

Chaos sees all this. He smiles and quietly withdrew from the battlefield, hiding himself in the dark. Seems to have found something interesting.

It was then that the men who had appeared suddenly froze, just for a moment, but long enough for the contestants to seize on the weakness of the moment.

The fightback begins.

When you stare at the devil, you will find that the guy you stare at will smile like a fool, you have no reason to hit him.

"Tell me what you need." Grey squeezes out these words. Didn't you say you were going away for a while? Don't keep your word, man! Well, you never kept your word either! But Noah and King, they're still fighting the inexplicable crowd! I don't think I can do anything but at least help!

"Actually, client, I have something very important to tell you." The little devil suddenly turned his head very seriously. Grey is a little stunned. What's wrong with this? Suddenly serious? Did you get fired? Then you can get your quarter back!

"I'll tell you the truth." The little devil ignored him and continued to be serious. He came up to him, raised his head and looked at Grey, "Actually, you and I are not just customers and salesmen!"

"?" Grey was confused by this operation. What was this little devil doing?

"To tell you the truth, our fate began ten thousand years ago!" The little devil took out his handkerchief and sobbed.

I knew it. Grey rolled his eyes. "I don't have time to joke with you. My friends are still fighting over there! Let me go back!"

"I'm not kidding, I have proof!" The little devil looked very confident. "Do you have a number in your mind? Ok, three! Two! One! What number?"

"... One?" Grey was careful.

"Me too!"

'I don't believe you! Grey was so angry that he want to curse, and he fell down... I really stoop to listen to this little devil!

"Do you think I'm making you happy now? Think I'm a psycho?" The little devil laughed again.

"Of course." Grey glared at him.

"That's brother telepathy!"

"Go !!!!!" Grey gave up, and today the little devil seemed to be a little bit more mean than usual.

"I need to warn you." The little devil's figure gradually blurred, "be careful of the black swan... And I'm not lying..."

What the hell is this guy up to? He never did anything useless, so he wouldn't drag me into this place just to talk such nonsense. Grey thinks, gnashing his teeth. Suddenly, a strong pain go through his head.

It is as if someone's memory slip through his head.

There was the sound of the waves in my ears, the ruins as far as the eye could see, the pain in my head as if it were going to explode, the sharp sound in my ears heralded a change in the flow of blood in my veins. There was no one around him. He looked at the overwhelming pressure of the wall of water, but his heart was calm like a stone forest.

He wasn't afraid, he just felt empty.

After all, watching death creep in and feeling powerless is a crushing feeling.

Footsteps in the hum of the ear heralded someone's approach. But everyone should have been running for their lives, and those who were trampled to death, or crushed by falling houses, were the only ones left behind.

It wasn't raining, but the boy who came up to him was holding an umbrella.

He looked up at the boy. It was a kid in a suit, about his own height. With a symbolic smile on his face, he held his umbrella slightly above his head. The umbrella is big enough to cover two people.

The boy's pupils are pure black, like a bottomless pit.

The wall of water was already there, roaring and grinding toward the two men.

The boy then spoke in a calm, watery voice, seemingly unaware of the tsunami behind him. "What's your name?"

He blurted out without thinking much.

Yuke Universe 1999 - Eris destroyed, another planet disappeared into space.

Snap --

Grey opened his eyes and saw a red hand mark swelling up on one side of his face, showing that the assailant had no mercy.

"Still know to wake up." Chaos pulls his hand back, "Minor, this guy woke up."

It took Grey a moment to remember what he had just wanted to do. It was like I was going to help King, and then it was like... He met the little devil. No wonder the whole body fracture like, the original was knocked out!

"Eh? Where are those guys? Those who attacked..." Grey looked around puzzled. Everyone was there, but they were in a bit of a mess. They didn't look badly hurt.

"Out of nowhere, there was a pause in those guys' movements and we took the opportunity to beat them." Noah explained that if it wasn't for that mistake... Whether it's a mistake or something, they could be fighting for a long time. The dead don't get tired, but they do.

"... Sorry." King suddenly spoke very quickly, but Grey heard him.

'What? Oh, my god! This guy apologized? !

"Nothing..." King looked away. "Just... Next time... Just hang in there next time! It fell so suddenly, I couldn't help you... !"

... Oh -- I see. Grey smiled with satisfaction. It turned out that the guilt of this proud guy was easy to get.
