"Just for the motivation and fun. Don't you think so?", Alex asked.
"Ahh… what will be the price then?", Andrea asked.
"I don't know. Maybe US2000 dollars for the winner.", Alex suggested.
"What? Do you want a stage competition?", Andrea asked.
"No. Just street performance. Whoever impresses us. We will give the prize. Don't you think, it is fun?", Alex asked.
"Fun. Yes. But it may be very dangerous and costly.", Andrea replied.
"Don't worry about it. Do you know any place?", Alex asked.
"Yeah. I know a place.", Andrea replied.
"Let's go then.", Alex dragged her out of the hotel and took her to the streets.
"Let's buy a camera to record it. It will be fun that way.", Alex suggested.
They went to the nearby electronic shop and bought the most expensive GoPro camera for each of them.
"It might be snatched by thieves, be careful.", Andrea warned.
"Don't worry about it. Mind yourself, ok.", Alex teased.
They went to the street where artists were performing without any vehicle nearby. It's all footpath, with almost no vehicles except bicycles. They went to a group who were performing rap in the place, which was a decent place.
"Brothers, let me hear your best performance. If you impress me, I will give you US 2000 dollars.", Alex suggested.
"Alright brother.", one of the rappers said. They took time to prepare and after a minute, they started to rap. The rap took 15 minutes to stop and Alex recorded it casually.
"That was a good performance. You impressed me. What is your name, brother?", Alex asked.
"My name is Carlos and this is my crew.", the rapper introduced.
"Alright. My name is Alex and this is Andrea. I will give you the money but I also have a job for you. We are going to have a street competition here. Whoever impresses us, we will give them US 2000 dollars and you guys have to organize it. How about it?", Alex asked.
"Are you for real? What kind of performance?", Carlos asked.
"For real. Any kind of performance and we have to do it now. If you can do it, this money is yours.", Alex showed US 10,000 dollars.
"You got a deal.", Carlos and the group agreed.
"Let's get started.", Alex gave them the money.
They changed the whole setup in a short time and after drinking, they got started.
"Alright listen up people, we are doing a street talent contest here and now. You have to perform any kind of performance here and if any of you impress us. My bother here will gift you US 2000 dollars.", Carlos shouted to the people who are watching the commotion. Soon, more people started to gather. In the middle of the crowd, a hand was raised.
"I will do a dance performance.", the boy shouted. Everybody looked at him.
"Come on up to the stage then.", Carlos encourage him and readied his music by the boy's choice.
"Let's do this everybody ready.", Carlos shouted and started the music.
The boy started to dance and the crowd cheered him up. Alex just recorded his performance in a leisurely manner. The dance was ok but not so impressive. After the performance, the boy was huffing and puffing.
"Alright. How is the performance? If it's good, give some love.", Carlos asked the crowd, and 15/16 people clapped or shouted. Carlos came toward Alex and asked.
"How is the performance brother?", Carlos asked.
"It was alright. He is the first one to perform, so for him US 2000 thousand. Andrea, give it to him.", Alex handed the money to Andrea. Andrea handed it to the boy and the crowd clapped and shouted.
"Good for him. Anybody else who wants to perform.", Carlos asked. The crowd became restless. Soon another participant with a singing hobby performed, he was almost horrible. Alex gave him US500 dollars. Another girl came and danced salsa and Alex gave her US2000 dollar. The place was filled with more people to watch. Another person came, he was a rapper and did his rap. Alex gave him US1500 dollars. Another person came, he was crazy, he wanted to perform a dangerous act so they stopped him and gave him US 100 dollars. An announcement was made not to perform life threatening act.
After many acts, there was a beautiful singer who performed her singing, she was very good and the crowd cheered. Alex gave her US4000 dollar and the crowd applauded. The crowd became crazy and lots of people gathered around the place. The shout of people and excitement of people can be heard.
