Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Taking leaves

Naveen (one of my cousins): (audibly reading month-old post on my profile) Today, I am here to address everyone who has been part of my life until now! Having spent the very first phase of life here, I am deeply connected with the senses, smell and feel and perhaps, you can define me as a part of Nepal. In order to pursue my career, I am designed and directed to depart from Nepal for a considerable period of time. I may not be as frequently available as until today. You are all in my mind and memory. I am here to get your permission to move on and uphold the future. Thank you and BYE! Too many likes, emoticons and comments... hmm hmm.. You are quite sentimental Agastya!

(I and all my family members were strolling on the balcony of our house!)

Everyone: (smiles and giggle)

Vinita (cousin sister and sister of Naveen): Anyway, it was sweet Agastya!

Me: The blessings, the emotions and the faith are all great forces that work alongside our plans and actions. And this post is actually a pledge to everyone that I shall make a sizeable impact in the world!

Dad: (sarcastic) However, the field is undefined yet!

Everyone: LOL!

Mom: Tea is ready! Anyone who wishes to have can approach.

Dad: Did you serve maa and bapuji?

Me: Obviously! She served them in their room! Grandparents are not willing to come out now. It's quite sizzling here in Rajasthan though it's five in the evening!

Aunt Savitri (dad's sister): So, what have you planned to pursue?

I enjoyed the tea and answered nothing.

Dad: Your aunt is asking something! Didn't you hear her?

Me: There is no definite career that can meet my vision. Studies, jobs, family et al are just media of organizing the needs. We can do it anyway. If you have any better option, I am keen to know your suggestion dad!

Vinita: (skeptic)You seem to have a choice. Why don't you tell it?

(I couldn't stop my laughter.)

Naveen: You are talking in circles.

Dad: Don't try to outwit me..huh! Naveen, I think pursuing B.A.LLb will be better option.

Naveen Yeah! And it matches Agastya's character.

Me: It's a good idea. However, let's have a discussion with brothers tonight.

Grandma: (coming out on the balcony) What are you all talking about? Have you prepared all your stuffs for tomorrow. Did you check your tickets? Manage it now, on time or else you may forget something here. Divyansh, Naveen, go and check!

Dad: Umm.. Mohini must have done maa.

Naveen: Yes, grandma, it's already set.

Vinita: Grandma always worries about us. O'grandma!

(Vinita remarked her worry and love over her.)

Aunt Savitri: We all experience a relief when elders are around.

Grandma: (venting out anger and love) You are children, always hustling around. What do you know? I have to worry all the time for you!

Me: Grandma, you have tracked so many moments in life. Where else shall we find the truth of our past than you. Please, tell about some events that we should keep in mind all the time.

(I poured my curiosity.)

Grandma: (low voice) Grandpa knows better to tell. Ask him! Ask him tonight!

Vinita readied up to return to her home. I accompanied her and returned back. Mom had prepared dinner by 7:30. We chanted some of sanskrit 'stotram' and later, had our dinner by eight past half.

Later, while sitting around Grandpa, he himself started sharing various stories of his experiences and some historical ones. He is a man of virtue. He worked as an accountant to a large firm while he was young. His experiences in Kolkata and east India are indeed great lessons to keep in mind. He shared a lot of information about the places, the people and the culture. Adding the historical stories, we truly understand how truly and relatively can we imbibe the holy knowledge in our life. Bhargava's call came up at the moment and we joined others too. We discussed about the career and they too were at consent.

Me: (to myself) A short family session in the evening is just like a festival and thus, it's quintessential for healthy and cordial relationship.

The next day, as the train was set to clock in at 10:30 a.m., the morning went in hustle. Mom, dad and Naveen left on time and we four bid them bye. Tears rolled down the eyes of my mom however she managed to leave alright.
