In the distance of the cold waste beyond the wall also known as the true north a humming and thundering sound was heard and the sky was splitting apart to reveal a distorted shape in the night sky. The natives of the land which is the wildlings was shocked some said its the sign of the gods and others says that the coming winter will be even more dangerous than previous winters before it.
In a cave at the northernmost part of the cold waste a pair of blue eyes snap opens as if it sensed a threat and it can feel the phenomenon happening. This creature then wave its hand and suddenly corpses beneath the snow in the cave and outside rise up and move towards where the sky split apart.
While this was happening, the southern part of the land a war broke out all because of a prince, The Crown Prince Rhaegar Targaryen has kidnapped the winter rose of House Stark, Lyanna Stark which is the betrothed of the current Lord Baratheon, Robert Baratheon. Due to his folly the brother of Lyanna, named Brandon Stark storm King's Landing and demanding the head of the the Crown Prince albeit unsuccessfully due to him being captured and thrown into the dungeon. His father Rickard Stark current Lord of House Stark venture to King's Landing seeking to absolve his son's crime by participating in trial by combat. However, the Mad King Aery Targaryen, the current ruler of Westeros decide to name the champion of the crown is Wildfire which then causes Rickard Stark to be burn alive while screaming in pain. His son and heir Brandon tried to save him by reaching to a sword a few feet of him but he too died by choking trying to reach said sword to save his father.
Appalled by this Jon Arryn who was present in the proceeding was convinced that the Targaryen family need to be put to the sword. But he knew he cant do it if he stucks in this city, however before he can devise a plan to get out of the city, the King ordered him to bring his foster sons Eddard Stark the second son of House Stark and Robert Baratheon to justice due to the king having heard shortly after the death of Rickard and Brandon Stark both of the foster sons of Jon Arryn has been amassing their men in preparation for war.
Jon Arryn faked an agreement and ride as hard as he could back to the Vale and called his banners he is determine now more than ever to bring down the Targaryen. He, Eddard Stark and Robert Baratheon will be the first lords to rebel against the crown making it known as Robert's Rebellion with Robert being the main contender for the throne after dethroning the Targaryen.
But unbeknownst to any of the men in the land a hunter was dropped off in the cold wasteland and he has been busy.
