arrrrrrrrg! gwahhhhhhhhhhh! painful screams were heard once again as more bones snapped like toothpicks.
kimbo eyes became filled with blood and had begun to bulge out his head when a masculine voice shouted from behind them.
"Mr. Blade, Enough." the voice was sir Hughes accompanied by miss grey and Bison.
hearing sir Hughes voice made Damon look up. seeing him missy grey and an unknown man by his side.
"why should i, he was willing to kill me and Jolly a day ago and almost succeeded. this fat blob and Jack deserves no mercy."
"I don't understand the situation but I'm asking you to let me handle it. this is not the time to take out personal grudges Mr. Blade."
Damon's eyes flashed with intense aura as he heard sir Hughes words. his mind wasn't conflicted on what to do, he knew what he was going to do and it was simple. kill kimbo and jack. what made him even more mad was sir Hughes calling it a grudge when to him it was more.
He didn't understand, even though he had told sir hughes what kimbo did he was trying to get him to spare his life when he himself had heard of sir Hughes ways in the past which were said to be very noble but frightening at times especially when it came to his enemies.
"sir hughes, I expected you of all people to know how it is to cut down your enemies with no remorse. you've done so much good for the kingdom in the past and"....just then sir Hughes appeared in front of Damon out of thin air. no one seen or sensed him move but Bison who eyes followed his movement closely watching him run at an incredible speed which looked like he teleported.
"I've done nothing to help this kingdom, everything I've ever done was for myself."
Damon almost jumped back in a panic because of the way sir Hughes got in front of him in seconds without a single sound.
"I believe you Mr. blade, but again let me handle it and release him."
Sir Hughes towered over Damon as he looked him in his eyes.
"if you don't stop I'll take matters into my own hands sir hughes adds. listen to sir Hughes Damon we can figure this out." miss grey shouted out.
Seeing Damon's resolve in wanting to kill kimbo no matter what sir Hughes let out a big sigh. "very well then Mr. blade." sir hughes said before the entire atmosphere changed.
the air around them became heavy as the aura around sir Hughes vibrated slightly. a smothering pressure was released pushing all the kids in the area on their knees. Bay was the first on his knees then steel and copper soon after. A few seconds later Jolly fell to one knee.
Surprisingly, to sir hughes Damon was still standing gritting his teeth. his entire body was shaking as he fought the pressure sir hughes was controlling.
"what is this pressure. my entire core wants to submit. it's like my body is reacting on instinct. it's like I'm terrified, I can't move,I can barely think." Damon thought to himself fighting the urge to listen to sir hughes aura.
"it's his will Damon, he's not trying to hurt you and doesn't plan on it. it's a power scaling tactic even beasts can use it. he's simply making you stop and yield without physical force. many believe it's a respectful way to show their opponent or enemy that they are greatly beyond them in power and do not want to fight while showing a clear sign of dominance However there are many who use it for other things as well. Shield informs Damon.
"I knew I was right about you." sir hughes thinks to himself as a very small pulse of energy left his body making the pressure more intense sending Damon straight to the ground on his knees.
" Javaline rescind." Damon says and in a matter of seconds Javaline was gone. his power was already snuffed out as soon as sir hughes released his will. the storm cloud above had disappeared and the electricity around his arms and hands.
the electricity in his eyes was the last thing to fade as Damon's entire body was seen on the ground in a praying manner on both knees, he couldn't even lift his head.
"well done Mr. blade a great warrior must know when he's clearly outmatched. Thank you for not fighting it any longer."
Sir Hughes picked up kimbo's half broken body and walked towards the others. miss grey and bison had retrieved jack. they both were still alive but barely.
"meet back at the bunker when you're ready Mr. blade." sir hughes said before they disappeared.
the atmosphere turned back to normal as they all were able stand up.
After a few minutes of talking about what occurred they decided to head back. Along the way Damon and Jolly informed the others about their actions towards kimbo. they left out a few crucial details and twisted the truth about how they survived. Damon also showed them the massive scar on his chest for further proof.
copper told steel and bay about the few things kimbo said when seeing Damon further proving that what Jolly and Damon were saying had to be true. they all didn't take each other's actions to heart after clearing a few things up and continued to move like everything was normal.
even though Shield had told him what sir Hughes did he wanted to know if the others knew of such a thing called WILL.
turned out Bay green. the youngest out the group was the only one that knew of it and witnessed it many times. his father would use his WILL upon him all the time while beating him senseless.
"My father isn't a cruel man by any means he just has a very bad temper whenever he drinks alky. I mean he's always pushing me to get stronger." Bay shared with them.
upon hearing the words alky which means alcohol or booze and the fact that bay said how his father would beat him whenever he would drink. the others looked at each other with cutting eyes and they all knew what was going through each other's heads.
"enough of the small talk, Jolly I don't remember your vines being that color and also I felt like my energy was being sapped from me little by little when you grabbed my legs earlier. I'm no dumb ass, what happened to you I mean clearly you're just as different than Damon."steel said confidently.
Jolly crafted vines around his palms they were green and brown at first but suddenly changed to an ash color with a faint red glow pulsating.
"nothing hasn't changed with my power. I have always been able to do this it's just I was waiting to show my true power when the awakened soul recruiters arrived. I was told a long time ago that it was foolish to show everyone your full hand no matter who they are and so throughout the years I've kept that thought with me. so while in school I would use my regular vines but in secret practice with.....let's just say an upgraded version of them."
"he sure is good at lying." Damon thought with a smirk.
they all fell for Jolly's story because many people would hide what they could truly do especially in school. sparring matches would take place all the time and many didn't go all out fearing to show a future enemy or opponent their tricks.
"Damon so that was your soul beast back there I've never seen a snake beast like that before, you idiot do you know how many beasts you've haven't seen before, it's literally millions of different beasts in existence." copper says interrupt steel.
"oh shut it y'all know what I mean."
"before you ask, no it's not the same beast I've gained my power from, I was lucky enough to awaken two beasts at once. the one called Javaline is my second beast. As for my first beast, well it's a shape shifting beast." Damon says confidently.
Just before the scream for help earlier who turned out to be kimbo steel was pressuring Damon about his power and soul beast. with his ability being completely different from Javelinq66 he knew some questions would be asked that he didn't have the answers to.
He also had come up with the perfect cover up as well.
all of their mouths dropped to the ground including Jolly's.
"so you're saying you not only managed to awaken two soul beasts, but one of them is a shape shifting beast like mine and copper." steel says with excitement.
"yes that's right, and it loves to hide within the storm cloud above because that's what it made out of." Damon added.
"wooooah now that's cool. welcome to the super rare club then." copper says giving Damon a high five.
like mentioned before copper and steel were twins with strange and not so common abilities and this was because of their soul beasts. they both had what was known as shape shifting soul beasts which were beasts that had no true beast form and could shape shift into anything.
it was beyond super rare and only fifty had been known in existence including steel and coppers. they were the only two students in village city that had guild and faction offers at the age of fourteen. they were offered riches beyond their wildest dreams, but it was all up to their parents who declined everyone's offers simply because steel and copper wanted to finish school.
Jolly was shaking his head slightly thinking Damon's lie would never work for long.
"if I was you id just tell them the truth, you and your soul beast have different abilities. so what something like that hadn't never been seen before, hell everyone that lives in village city already knew you were different from the jump." jolly says to Damon via system connection.
"you may be right, but until I talk to a certain person one on one I'm keeping it a secret. you just never know the outcome these type of things." Damon responded.
"whatever you say, shield what's your opinion on the matter."
" I agree with you both, Damon will only be able to hide it for so long and yet we do not know the true outcome of what the truth will bring." shield says.
"you lied about yours as well. that's true but my new powers still relate to my vines You are totally different."
hearing those words Damon couldn't help but to agree.
Damon thought about how miss grey's ki could be mistaken as her soul beast ability they were so similar and yet very different. and according to miss grey knowledge a person who learns ki before they awaken will always awaken a beast that would have powers similar enough to their ki that it was very easy to mistaken them as one in the same.
however Damon's awakening wasn't natural by any means which is why he was in his current situation.
"nobody has seen Javaline fight besides jolly and Alice, the only thing she did to kimbo was use her snake's natural instincts and squeeze him, as far as anyone knows like sir Hughes miss grey and that rough looking fellow that were with them, they have no clue if she uses electricity or not. " Damon thought to himself.
