Chapter 56 - UNTITLED CHAPTER

Her family was her number one priority and what she loved most in the whole wide world. She felt nostalgic starting at the peaceful scene that played before her. She could feel her eyes sting due to the threatening tears that were banging on the barrier she created to hold them in. She quickly sucked in the escaped tears back, cleaning the rest that was on her cheeks with the back of her hand. She didn't even realize the tears she was holding in were falling, when she realized, it was too late to hold them in.

The mood swing was back again. She can't believe she was crying, well it was worth it. She was too emotional, dwelling in her sweet memories that always brings her unexplainable joy, she always felt full anytime she travels back to past sweet memories.

Sigh!. She heaved a sigh, looking ahead at the group of people that sat around the fire. It was completely dark already so the fire gave enough reflection around the surroundings making her skin slightly orange due to the reflection of the light.

She didn't move an inch from where she stood and just watched from behind the scene like an audience. If she went there, what will she do or say? since these people don't seem to be very fond of her. A smirk made its way to her face as she thought about these. She added a footstep, walking forward to go there and attempt what she doesn't want to do.

She wants to run around and speak anyhow, she wants but she can't because of the restrictions bound to her. She wants to sit by the fire and say funny things, make people laugh, and create sweet and memorable moments but no she can't with all these restrictions she has bounded to her, she can't do as she wants, even if she does, the people she wants to entertain weren't ready to comply since they seem to fear and respect her, they were even elegant then her in real life. A prim princess is tough, those times when she criticizes the characters for why they hate such luxurious life and prefers the poor people's life. Now she knows the reason why they did that. She didn't understand their emotion, but now she does since she was in the same shoes.

Most of the time, when she reads stories and then it talks about their experiences and problems, she always compares it to her situation if she were the one she would have done if she were whereupon she'd have done. But now with the silent treatment she receives and the inability to speak with no restraint or restriction, she knows what it feels like to be a princess with limited freedom.

Something stopped her before she got there, it was someone who stopped her and it was no one other than Zamiel. She heard him call her by her name. His voice which usually send goosebumps all over her skin did twice the job this time with the way he called her name with his thick, calm, domineering, and hypnotizing voice. She stopped, not turning around to meet his eyes but still she could feel his eyes on her from behind even though she was backing him.

She felt the cold breeze toying with her hair and also occupying her eyes, she felt stiff and limp, unable to face him or walk or she might miss her stepping. She took a silent deep breath before turning around to attend to what he was here for She turned around slowly with her hands at her front.

"Yes". She replied, turning around to meet his gaze but once again she couldn't help but sink herself into that blue eyes of his that were always like a black hole to her and a warping portal to another dimension.

" Do you need anything?". She heard his voice ask but didn't see his eyes ask with a serious gaze that looked the opposition what he was asking.

"No". She responded. (Guess he found out, was it that obvious that something was wrong with me? ) She started at him softly, it was not like the defensive one she usually wears anytime she was around him.

" Hm". He replied, averting his gaze away from her as if she was now completely worthless before returning it to her. His eyes looked so elderly as if he has experienced a lot and there was nothing this world can do to shock him. He was like a person or a spirit under disguise because she felt that supernatural feeling she normally has whenever she reads about a fictional character. He was like a wise man under the guise of a dashing and handsome young fellow.

He stared down at her like an adult or father interrogating his daughter with his stern face. The way, he stared down at her made her feel shor, and had to crane her head just to keep eye contact with him. She had to admit that his eyes were too pressuring when he spares her a glance. It makes you feel like ey anytime he does that. And anytime he doesn't seem to have your time, you feel he's pompous or proud but when he does you wish he never spares you any attention of his at all.

"Follow me". He said, holding her by her wrist before pulling her with him. She was being pulled by him to wherever he was planning on taking her. He looked possessive or more likely Childish with the way he pulled her as if he was eager to show her something important.

She didn't bother to stop him since there was nothing for her to do anyway

and she can also use it to kill time that was available before bedtime

He only took her to the back of the can't where the horses and carriage were left. They were behind the carriage that looked beautiful and peaceful and...cold. She rubbed her arms with her palms as if she was rubbing the cold feeling off. She created friction only to cause heat that was going to warm her up, she started at the time white moon that wasn't as far as she thought and the stars were too much. They looked so much as if they all jam-packed themselves to occupy the sky, and the sky was eerie blue and purple giving off that magical feeling she felt most of the time. Everything looked like a painting with huge and wide land that was filled with nothing but space. It was vast and the sky seem to look like it ended where the land stopped " for her sight".

She felt calm and cool with just the scene nature provided, it was a natural anti-stress medicine for her, and her defensive instincts of hers lowered their guard after the beautiful sight she just witnessed. She felt more than happy.

He stared at her as she made her way to a nearby rock and sat on it. She doesn't seem to be cold anymore like she was just a while ago, it was as if all the defensive part of her flew out of her. She looked innocent and fragile as she just sat there staring at the sky as if she was watching a play, an interesting one. But on a closer look, you would see that she looked sad, it gave off a nostalgic feeling making anyone watching feel emotional.

All he did was stand there and what h her as she sinks into the pleasure it gave her. He gave her the time she needed and craved. He has been noticing her and her mostly negative emotions or spacing out most of the time which happens almost every day.

He also noticed how she was always lonely and always hesitant to talk. She was like a mixed breed of an introvert and an extrovert. She was talkative and rude, he knows with the way she talks back and asks questions and doesn't seem to be as respectful as a princess was supposed to be too high standard people, He doesn't mind it anyway but he still can't ignore what he noticed.

He brought her here because of

how lonely she was, not performing any activity at all than asking him questions when they were traveling and sleeping when it was dusk He could feel how uncomfortable it was for her, not doing anything and just waiting for someone to service her, he knew with the way she always goes to meet Phillip and prepare good with him and also these evening she offered to wash the plates they both used. And she seems not so happy to go convert with the others so he just brought her here to catch up on whatever emotions she had inside. Not a positive one -He was sure about that.
