Old Man Yahk took another drink of cold water.
"But the petition was ignored. Management at that time knew what was happening at The Outer but they put it as irrelevant and lowest priority. That was their biggest mistake. Two months after that instead of petition for help, warning came.
"The contents of the warning were 'Send us help and stop the human trafficking or we will stop the human trafficking ourselves. If and only if we stop the human trafficking ourselves Mercenary Management must not retaliate or make any form of retaliation.' The warning was ignored by the Management.
"They thought it was some childish prank by some Mercenary group. Two weeks after that, a boy came into a Mercenary Building. He brought a large backpack with him. He walked slowly to the receptionist counter and when he arrived - I still remember it vividly- he said 'I had stop it, we had stop it'. He threw the backpack to the receptionist.
"The receptionist feeling bewildered by sudden action of the boy took the bag and opened it there. She started to scream and cried when she saw a disfigured heads of people in the bag. The disfigured heads were Mercenary involved in the human trafficking.
"The boy then said while staring coldly at the fallen receptionist' You guys retaliate then I will blow up this building, another building like this and another. He then walked away. The people there were too stunned to stop him."
This time Old Man Yahk took a one shot of vodka.
"Let me continue from there."
The middle aged man with unkempt beard said.
"The Management retaliated. They started putting up bounty on the boy's head all over the Inside. The director of Mercenary Management at that time was an arrogant and a foolish guy.
"He felt humiliated by what happened and to cover his humiliation he started to put up bounty on the boy's head. He also send a lot of Mercenary to The Outer. You see people here. Most of them joined in to go to The Outer at that time. This is because the director gave us a lot of money.
"Then the boy started his ambush. He lead a group of kids attacking us in all sorts of way. He use a hit-and-run tactic. We got so irritated by the attacks not just because the attacks didn't really hurt us it was also just plain annoying. The most type of attack he did to us was by throwing human poop at us. Sometimes we got attacked while we were eating so our food that we brought always went to waste.
"He always knew when we were going to activate our Artifacts. He then threw a smoke bomb, flashbang and stink bomb to distract us. One day things suddenly escalated. We started to run after them with all our might . We followed the boy and entered a tall and abandoned concrete building. It was night at that time and the place was quite dark.
"The abandoned building started shaking and it suddenly collapsed on itself. The building fell on us. 25 of us were caught by surprise. A few left unscathed but most of us have severe injuries. We thought that he and the kids are not capable of hurting us because they never hurt us for real before but then the flow has changed.
"The trap set up by them became capable of hurting. Tighten steel wires sometimes set up on the road. Poison ingredients usually mixed in our food or stew. They started throwing stone laced with paralyzing poison. When we try to stay in a closed place, they burn the place. When we tried to sleep in open space they released poisonous snakes.
"Not any one of the Mercenary that was in the search team died but slowly one by one give up and went back to the Inside. There were only me, Old Man and a girl that is not here right now left on the search team. He confronted us one night.
"We stood 2 meters from him. Without saying anything he threw five small compact bomb to us. Old Man Yahk used his Protective Robe to protect us from the explosion. Unfortunately, he was not fast enough and his left hand became tattered. He flew away and knocked unconcious.
" The girl activated her Sound Artifact but the boy moved closer towards the girl and hit her throat with a metal pipe. He quickly knocked away the Artifact on her hand. Before I was even managed to activate my Artifact , he shot me on my thighs and knocked me on the head multiple time with the metal pipe."
"After that what happened?"
"We all went home. The bounty was put down and the search stop there."
"Is it because no want to do the job anymore?"
"No because he blew up a Mercenary Building."
