Upon the plagued streets of London, underneath the dark lit sky with the moon uncannily shimmering in its peculiar glowing light, stood a man.
Pale-skinned, lean, handsome, blonde hair and rich suit, his eyes stone cold, even colder than the Goddess of winter herself.
He walked towards a crawling entity, specifically known as Angels upon this world, entities that followed a certain god, specifically a god known for causing abrupt chaos to the primitive life humans worked hard for.
"H-Help me, I can't survive, lord why have you forsaken me to such a monster?"
The Angel yelled in utmost pain, it dragged its body along the plagued concrete, crawling in the middle of the streets, specifically at the time of the witching hour.
"Malfroy, you scum to the earth, you dare fight against the Authority of god? You have no shame?"
The Angel spoke as it turned to look up at Malfroy who seemingly smiled at him, no sort of mercy given.
The Angel bled from its mouth, it's teeth were missing as well as parts of its angelic cloth it wore.
It's one wing was torn, the other unable to move as it remained stagnated.
"You cannot fly, you cannot walk, but you still can talk."
Malfroy in a calm manner would stop approaching the Angel in pain, but instead took from his pocket a cigar, lighting it with his lighter that had foreign drawings laid upon its exterior.
"I have killed many gods and his servants, however the god you serve is nothing more than scum, you poor fool."
The Angel crawled to a lamppost only a few meters away, it's bloodied hand gripped upon it to slowly pull itself back upon its feet.
"My god... he is merciful, he is almighty... and he is your creator!"
Malfroy would puff upon his cigar, closing his eyes in shame to those heavy words.
"Your god is merciful? Kuhahahaha! Hearing that still never fails to make me laugh."
Storing his foreign lighter away, he would snug it into his pocket.
"Do you know why I attacked you, Angel?"
Malfroy blew smoke from his nose, exhaling.
"Call me, Yohana..."
The Angel replied back as it limped upon the lamppost, it's wound on its chest unable to heal.
"Well then, Yohana? Can you answer my question?"
The Angel looked down in a shameful expression, balling it's already weakened fist.
"I came here to... take the life... of..."
Yohana would stop talking mid-sentence, now swinging his arm to the side in denial.
"What I came here for is none of your business! This is why mortals will never receive true peace, because of people like you denying the authority of god, Malfroy!"
Malfroy smiled, reaching into his holster and pulling out a revolver, it too had a foreign symbol engraved on its side.
"But it is my business Yohana, I am a mortal after all. You've come here to take the soul of young Jonathan to the afterlife, did you not?"
Yohana had nodded his head.
"Yes, I have."
Malfroy would then pull the trigger, a loud *BANG* echoing through the streets.
"...?"
Yohana looked to the side and seen the lamppost bent forward from the ricochet of the bullet, showing it was no ordinary revolver.
"You were going to take young Jonathan to Hell, not Heaven, but hell. And I'm sure you know why he was going there, Yohana."
The Angels expression looked a bit nervous, biting down upon his bottom lip.
"It's all because of his sexuality, a young man who wishes to simply love and nothing more."
Malfroy sighed, swaying his hair backwards with his gloved hand.
"He is a kid with no felonies, no heinous crimes, no records of murder or assault, he lives a good life and provides for society in this rundown city, and yet he's going to spend the rest of eternity in hell over someone he loves."
The Angels expression changed, to a more stern one.
"I am merely following gods orders and nothing more..."
He would now lean off the lamppost, stumbling his ragged and beaten body closer to Malfroy.
"So go ahead Malfroy, the God Hunter... finish me off, do it. I'll just return back to my lord once and for all! We angels cannot die unless our god wills it!"
Malfroy chuckled, puffing onto his cigar once more until he gently placed it out by mushing the end along his trench coat.
"They call me a God Hunter for a reason Yohana, all gods can come back to life if their name isn't forgotten, they're immortal essentially. The more prayers they get, the stronger they become, the more followers they receive, the higher they transcend."
Malfroy would pull the trigger, the bullet firing from the end as it was engraved with the same foreign markings as the revolver, now gushing its way through Yohana's chest.
"GAACK—!"
The Angel spat out blood, he fell backwards in pain, holding his chest as two holes were open on his body. Blood from both open wounds poured out like a geyser.
"Curses...! Curse you God Hunter!"
Malfroy blew the smoke from the end of the revolver, placing it back into his holster.
"When you die Yohana, you won't come back to life, you'll be erased from existence. That is the power of Malchut. It's able to even kill gods..."
Yohana gagged on his blood, his eyes staring into the black starry sky above.
"...Grrgghhhh..."
His words were alienated from the large pool of blood being stored inside his mouth, unable to grasp ahold of his life, he began to accept his death thoroughly.
"You said your Lord has forsaken you Yohana, and you were right, he's left you to die."
Malfroy had approached the dead Angel, fresh blood spreading along the cold concrete ground of London. Naturally no human eyes could see the blood of an Angel, let alone an Angel in general, only Malfroy and those who've awakened the Four Worlds are allowed to see such entities.
"You were at least loyal. Many angels I've seen would hear my words and question if what they were doing was right, then end up leaving their god, just to be killed from betrayal."
Malfroy had four large circles appear underneath his hand, pointing it at the Angel upon the ground.
"Rise from your grave and return from death, I won't let someone good as you pass on. Instead... you'll be working with me."
Malfroy grinned, the large four circles underneath him would release a powerful light-orb from the middle, suddenly healing the Angels wounds.
"Rise and Shine, Yohana."
The angelic entity felt it's wounds heal, it's body returning back to normal as it's wings were reborn, it's body healthier than before, and their body floating into midair.
"I'm... alive...?"
Yohana questioned it all in confusion, unable to process the situation at hand. The only thing the Angel remembered was the sound of a loud BANG, but now he realized what was happening.
"...Malfroy returned me from death...? But why..?"
As it stood afloat in the air, Malfroy had grabbed Yohana's hand, gently pulling him down. He was fully restored, landing upon his sandals.
"Are you a madman? You've even brought me back to health! As things are now, I can defeat you!"
Malfroy eyes lit up in red.
"Don't be so sure about that Yohana."
The angels body suddenly was paralyzed, despite being an incorporeal entity, it mattered naught.
"How did you...?"
Malfroy stuffed his hands into his pocket.
"The eyes of Four Worlds, nothing can stand before them, not even authority. It's the reason why I can deny gods authority whenever I want. Did you expect me just being a lucky individual?"
Yohana was now set free, his body became less tense, and now falling to his knees.
"Yohana, from here on out, you will work for me."
The Angel who stared at the ground was in disbelief at first, hearing how Malfroy was essentially forcing him into the god hunters ranks.
"You mean to tell me—"
Malfroy chuckled.
"Fumu. Yes, I want you to join inside the Patriots of mankind, you will be our intel man."
Yohana slowly looked up, with an expression of gratitude? Or an expression of feeling mockery? Only the Angel knew.
"I suppose if I decline then you'll kill me?"
The Angel locked eyes with Malfroy, keeping their gaze heavy and stern.
"I won't kill you, but you'll never be able to return to the First Heaven, ever again."
The Angel would frown, gritting it's teeth before punching the ground.
"D-Damnit... damnit!!!"
Upon colliding its fist into the ground, it shook the entire city block and stretched on for hundreds of miles.
"...I lost everything!"
Malfroy would now extend his hand, a smile still on his face.
"Join the Patriots of mankind, and together we'll exorcise authority from us mortals."
Authority was the running system created by the Gods that binds every humans to the gods, keeping balance upon the world. Once a human is born, their spiritual body is instantly bound to authority, meaning that a god can control their life and their fate, even choose their destiny, however there's a way to break free from authority.
Once someone undergoes the four trials of the world, they can slowly but surely break free from the gods authority, allowing them to exist outside of fate, the gods omniscient, and choose their own destiny. These mortals are called Singularities, and Malfroy was the first among them all.
"First man Malfroy... the one who denied the god and even his own creator... he wishes for me to join him? Is this real? Or am I still dead...?"
Yohana closed his eyes, bowing his head down with a smile.
"Ahahaha... Ahahahahahahahaha! Kaaahahaahahahahahaaha! The first Singularity asking me to join him! I don't know what to believe! This is all nothing but a funny joke to me!"
Yohana would place his hand upon his face, shaking his head back and forth.
"Haahahahahaaha! Very well... very well Malfroy, I am in your hands from now on."
Yohana reached forward to grab Malfroy's hand, feeling himself being pulled up.
"I can trust you Yohana. Do you wish to see the truth of the world, and how truly unruly the gods are?"
Malfroys expression was quite serious now.
"Yes, I am ready to see it all. I never had any doubts against my god, but... after he forsaken me, I must understand why."
Malfroy had unhanded Yohana, now turning around and walking down the sidewalk.
"Then don't waste time, we're going to go find that soul, Jonathan."
Yohana's expression looked confused.
"The soul I tried guiding to hell...?"
Malfroy bowed his head chuckling.
"Yes, that one. We must make our way over before it's too late, come on. Let me show you the true nature of the gods."
