As Aarohi's stare kept settled on Deep, the only thought she could humanly process was just one question, even for a lie, why didn't he inform her?!
As if her turmoil summoned him, Deep stood suddenly, making her almost wonder why!
"Where are you upto?!" Vinson who was silent the whole time spoke for the first time! No speak, but an enquiry!!
"Trying to catch the clouds, would you mind helping?!" Deep nonchalantly shrugged!
Vinson rolled his eyes, "Where is it that you are going to?!", he asked a bit seriously now!
Deep stared the man for a moment more before kicking the chair back into adjustment and just settling in it back! His stare never leaving the man, "Made a mistake of thinking of you as a man with morals!!"
"After all, there would be nothing called 'space' between us from now, right?!" He asked with a brow raised, a chuckle following!!
Vinson for the first time shook his head at him, as if he were on the verge of a cliff trying to hold onto the whatever last piece of fabric of tolerance remained within him that screamed of a jump off!!
Vinson watched him take his mobile out, dialling to someone! His eyes were soon enough narrowed as Deep began take seemingly heavy breaths now!
Aarohi's mobile ringed low as she watched them, her hands hesitatingly itching for the lift, and so, she did!!
Silence followed both the sides, each announcing the state of uncertainty, feeling the weight of unspoken!
"I'm sorry!" Deep finally broke the seemingly long silence, with his deep, low, soft voice!
Aarohi chuckled, "Sorry for?!"
"For not....answering your calls!!"
"And?"
A moment of silence followed again before Deep hesitatingly had put it out, "I'm at airport!!"
"Surprising!!" She almost cooed! "To where?!" Aarohi then asked with a sigh.
A silence of turmoil within of weighing the options, clearly was displayed! Should he lie again? Would he?!
"To London, few days of a business trip!"
And he lied!
Again!!
"It's an early information!!" She chuckled again, her gaze never leaving him, the gaze which he was unknown of!
"I.... apologize!"
"What else is yet to be apologized?!" She seeked for, pretentiously wondered!!
"So many that are unspoken, Aarohi." He admitted with a sigh, "The unspoken which seeks for an understanding in advance!!"
Aarohi leaned, almost fell, back into her seat, a sigh escaping her, "An understanding assured, perhaps?!"
Deep chuckled which was an incomplete momentary laugh, "A thanking provided in return then!!"
Aarohi took a deep breath, "Did Tara return? I assume it would quite be bothering for uncle to manage everything single-handedly."
"She did but is travelling again, I believe your aunt would be helpful!!"
"Just like you!!" He added!
She chuckled while Vinson rolled his eyes at the cheesiness the man's words were weaving themself!! Did he do any wrong by stopping the man from leaving?!
"You didn't yet ask of why did I call!" She reminded!
Deep gasped low, "Ah, I forgot!" he exclaimed!
"Forgetfulness or carelessness?!"
"Aarohi?!"
"Kidding! Just to inform you that I would be busy for a few days, a travel for a client!"
"To where?!"
A brief silence and...."Mathura!!"
Deep's eyes widened, his voice struck by an unseen force.
Aarohi chuckled at the silence, "I was to inform my schedule, however, you won't be free as well!!"
"Have a....nice journey!" He wished suppressing his deep feelings.
"You too!" She wished back, her stare over him momentarily blurred with the sting of a tear.
Deep nodded, as if she could see him nodding! "I love you, Aarohi!" His sudden confession made her blink her eyes, getting rid of the liquids she didn't need now, Aarohi saw him, his hesitation clearly evident in his eyes!
While, Vinson rolled his eyes, again!!
"I know!!" She said with a chuckle, "See you soon!"
That one last addition, he felt at lost, he didn't know in how of a situation would he see her again, what he was going to do was nothing that could help him! He didn't know his destination and now knowing hers', he really felt at lost! A sting of uneasiness suddenly striking his soul.
"See you!!" He forced a smile upon himself!
Another moment of brief silence followed until Aarohi ended the call!
Unknowingly, a tear made it's way down his cheek which he was soon enough to wipe away! Taking a deep breath, he looked up, "We should leave!!" he announced!
Vinson stared the man for a moment before giving a nod!
Aarohi watched them getting ahead, finally, it was time!!
And in between all of these known eyes, there was a pair of unknown, watching over the scene, the one that stood far away from any identifying individual!!
Neel observed as he was doing from the whole time, Aarohi as well now leaving the cafe!
He felt like an unnecessary audience, watching a game he wasn't interested in! The game of hide and seek of emotions and upcoming betrayals. The one that he never planned for, the one he could never stop!!
A defeated sigh escaped him, his hand sliding in for his pocket, taking out his mobile!
A call sent for the master of the game, "She as expected is following him!" he informed the man!
"I ask you the last time, do you still want me not to follow them?!" Neel questioned!
"You seem desperate!!" The man commented, a comment that had a mixture of curious and a nonchalant tone weaved together!
"My desperation never had the capacity to change things!!"
"That alone shows that you are desperate to change things, Neel!"
"I never wanted to change things that never bothered me!"
"Then shall I assume this bothers you now?!"
"Does my bothering bothers you? I doubt so!!"
The man laughed, "I wish it does!!"
Neel sighed, feeling done with this unnecessary talk! This man never knew how to get straight to the point! Why did he like to revolve things everytime?! The worst kind of dealing things!!
"Alright! As of now, don't! I would like to see how would things go if we are not involved!!"
Neel held back a grimace, as if he wanted to be involved! "Okay!" And just with that one, he ended the call!
Perhaps, it was for his good! At least, he would not be doing the spying things for a few days!
*************
Tara was seated in the compartment, her thoughts making her feel lost!
Aryan came in with a water bottle in hand, seated across her, a frown soon settled on his face as he noticed her being lost, as if something very serious is bothering her!
The air is filled with anticipation as passengers chatter and wave their goodbyes, yet that didn't seem to bother her, her mind already occupied in its own race of thoughts.
"You seem disturbed!" He voiced.
Tara looked at him briefly pulled out of the mess she created herself, and suddenly the rhythmic click-clack of steel wheels on iron rails created a mesmerizing melody, resonating through the surroundings. Passengers felt a gentle push in their seats, and the world outside started to blur as the train accelerated. The journey has begun, an intricate ballet of engineering, fire, and steel that carried the train and its passengers on their chosen adventure.
