Chapter 95 - Anxious Or Agitated?

After Arshad and Rhys retired for sleep, Deep showed a room for Aryan as well, to rest from the long hour drive! While Tara had chose to stay in the room she once stayed in, years ago, when she moved in here!

Deep didn't overthink any of the worrying situations, and choose to rest! He knew, the upcoming days might be troublesome to handle alone, however he didn't wish to spoil the present! He is motivated enough to fight back the whatever that was a considered danger.

Everything would go according to his plan.

With an encouraged soul, he went to sleep, it was difficult to find one but, with constant trials, he luckily found his rest!

While Tara was still seated in the chair, her hands resting on the study table while she kept staring the screen ahead of her laptop, seemingly the only source of light in her room!

Her fingers halting, hesitating to send the mail! It's been years since she met her grandparents, she couldn't even remember the least rememberable moments she spent with them!

But after finding out Aryan is their grandson, she wanted to know why they didn't come to take him! The man had to live in an orphanage, a situation he didn't deserve!

For her, she didn't want to meet them cause.....the suggestion of moving back to them from her uncle, that suggestion her grandfather suggested once didn't satisfy her! She didn't feel like to move away from this place, this city! The moments she had with her parents were mostly belonging to here and....she didn't want to leave her uncle and his family at most crucial time of her life, the time when she was extremely sensitive considering the newly found ability of her.

She had to invest a lot of time on herself to digest the fact and allow her ability into her life, whether willingly or not!

And so, she didn't want to move, cause she felt....she would feel lonely there, without her parents, without Deep and her uncle, without her aunt, she didn't think it was possible for her to stay sane, and the better way she found was the rejection.

However, Aryan had no one except them, then why?!

Aryan temporarily forgot his grandparents, but he now remembered them, regaining his memory, recognising them as his family, but did he remember anything that justified of him being in orphanage for years?!

What happened exactly?

She wished to know!

Taking a deep breath, she motivated herself to do the deed, the silence that was filled in the dark room was briefly silenced by the sound of the tap of key, and, she sent it!

The mail informing her grandfather that...she and Aryan, both will be visiting them!

Her heart still pounded in a way where she could hear it for herself, an unnecessary nervousness filled within her, why was she feeling this way?!

Was this a surge of anxiety she was feeling or.... agitation?!

With a soft sigh, she shut down her laptop, deciding to rest!

It didn't take much time for her to sleep though the uncertain feeling about her visit to her grandparents remained, unlike Aryan who stood near the window of the room he was allotted. Staring up the sky, leaning over the wall, his hands folded, for a moment, recalling the sight of Tara, as the image of her being in the same position suddenly, seemingly, appeared in the night view of the sky! He kept staring up at her until the passing clouds erased her form!

A sigh escaped him!

Replaying the events of his life, his life was completely, understandably simple, until, he met Tara! He lived a life of finding peace in treating patients, helping them ease their pain, until he was fated to meet her. He didn't help her ease her pain, instead had chose to share her pain!

The normalcy of his life took a twisted turn right the moment he held the collapsed her in his arms that night. Nothing remained the same, since then.

A lot had happened, he saw her as a business woman, as a lady trying to help others through her visions even if that meant to risk her life. A woman who cooks for him, a human who laughs instead of helping when he slips and falls back, someone who gives him pain but herself soon becomes a medicine for him, just the way how she massaged his wound that evening.

Someone who can and will understand him. Someone whose mere embrace can console him and his soul.

Someone who takes the stab instead of him and gets angry on him for not taking a better care of himself! And someone who chose to let him go just because the thought of him getting hurt was really hurtful.

So much, and he stood here, recalling and realising whatever he had to!

Tara.

A smile crept over his face.

If fate has ever given him anything that he felt grateful of, then it surely was Tara!

Just Tara!!

***********

Aryan, Tara, Deep, Arshad and Rhys, together had breakfast the next morning. Everything seemed fine, making them all feel relieved, enjoy the relaxed state of mind.

Until, everyone had to leave for their individual works! Rhys was first to leave them, and later followed Arshad who assured himself about Tara and Aryan's comfort before offering them a goodbye along with his son, and soon it was just three of them left!

Deep sighed while Tara kept staring at her empty cutlery with no particular thoughts! Silence followed!

Only until, Deep began, "I.... Father informed me!"

His voice of uncertainty made both of them look up at him, with a mixture of confusion and wonderment.

"And what do you now know by that piece of information?!" Tara asked curiously.

Deep sighed, "About Aryan's ability and the fact that we all are a family!"

Aryan gazed the man in silence, letting the word 'family' sink deep within him, which was new! Having himself stated that, he felt a sudden surge of fulfilment running through his veins.

"I wish I was the one to reveal the facts!" Tara said with a nod while Aryan still stayed silent.

"I am feeling contrast things! Happy for finding him to be our family and .....not so happy to find he has an ability!!"

Aryan chuckled! "That's pleasant to hear actually!" and he didn't lie! It was pleasant in a way!

Deep nodded understandingly, "And you two will be.....leaving again?!"

"To find any possible solution, yes!!" Tara shrugged.

Deep sighed, it was needful indeed perhaps, and that way, she can stay safe!

"I'll then excuse myself! I'm getting late!"

Tara nodded, "I'll join!"

"No, just rest!" Deep strictly denied making Aryan chuckle again, while Tara shook her head!

"No one listens to me anymore!!" she complained out of humour.

"Getting a reverse treatment?!" Deep asked satirically with a brow raised up while his eyes sparked with a glimpse of humour.

Aryan laughed, "Don't dig your own grave, get going!!"

Deep laughed, raising from his seat, he conveyed them a goodbye before heading out!

And it was just two of them now, unintentionally a sigh escaping out of her!

"You are blessed to have these people around you!" Aryan said, a soft smile playing on his lips.

Tara did agree, she is blessed, not only to have them but him as well. "You then are blessed to have me to have them!!"

Aryan laughed out which ended up in a chuckle soon.

"Well, would you prefer airway or railway?!"

Her sudden question wondered him enough, "I would rather prefer directness first?!"

Tara let the question hang in the air for a moment, as if trying to seek more of an understanding from that, "I just informed about our arrival, saying we would temporarily be leaving here soon!"

"To....whom?" Aryan asked though he somehow knew, as if wanting to hear it out, direct from her.

"Grandpa!" she said briefly after a soft sigh that escaped her! Her voice was faint for the second, as though she tried to allow it into the normalcy of her life!

"We could fly to Delhi then catch a train or we could just choose train!" Tara shrugged, asking for his preference after providing the so called directness.

"Let us just go for the latter option!"

Tara's head slightly tilted to his response, "I assumed you might feel comfortable by a flight!"

Aryan shook his head, "We anyway should end up in train!"

Tara nodded understandingly while Aryan sighed, it wasn't about comfort but the minimum time he needed!

He unnecessarily felt too anxious or nervous or something he couldn't define yet by the sudden topic of visiting his grandparents!

"Would we be leaving.....early?!"

She exchanged a look through which she clearly understood the familiar feeling, "Not so early! Let us take rest for two days atleast for, we kept moving constantly from few days!"

Tara sighed almost immediately as if not wanting to think about the past few days no matter how pleasant and peaceful some of them were.

And Aryan seemed to agree with that, after all, he needed time as well.

-Mathura-

Aman (a butler in his mid-forties) ran through the lengthy halls finally ending up infront of a chamber. Taking a moment to steady himself, he gently knocked the door once and waited for the man's approval!

"Come in!" the man who stood inside, holding a brush up in the air with one hand behind, halted the painting he was working on when the door of his chamber creaked open.

Witnessing the panting Aman, the man couldn't help but wonder what it is that put him in this state, "What puts you in run this early morning, Aman?!" he asked, his voice gentle yet firm.

"You....You received a mail, your majesty!" Aman said still panting, but not at all letting it take over him.

The man's head tilted slightly as he looked at Aman, not at all understanding the problem he saw in receiving a mail which was their daily routine! With an unheard sigh, he turned back, resuming the painting. "Is that an issue to be concerned?"

Aman took a second to inhale, as if to muster up the courage he needed the most now, before few words escaped him, "It's from princess!"

The man halted again, his gaze wavering until they were settled on Aman, exchanging a stare of seeking for assurance! "Do you mean.... Tara?"

Aman gave an assuring nod and time felt at pause for the man who now turned to look at the family painting he was working on.

The one in which they were all together. Him, his wife, his children and their family.

A painting which reflected his years dream.

Finally, his granddaughter contacted him, years after!!

"I need to read it for myself!!" he said low, without taking his eyes away from the painting.
