The Walton's security team had long informed the police about their search for Audrey, something they thought would yield good results.
For the rest of the day, both teams combed the city, getting to every nook and cranny they suspected Audrey could be located, and even at that, they found nothing.
At this time, Lucas was more than livid, he had even started to blame himself for everything that happened, and all the anger and the emotions he felt, he couldn't even express them properly because he felt like he had lost her.
He had started thinking of the different possibilities of what her captors could have put her through, maybe if they would have hurt her or try to do anything with her.
He didn't even know anything about her, The captors hadn't called or tried to send any sort of message and he was already losing it.
"She'll be fine Lucas, stop thinking like that!", Nalia said after getting the whole information and trying to calm her son down.
" You know mom, it's all my fault!", Lucas said, already taking the blame for something he couldn't control. He continued, "she was just a beautiful girl suffering the after-effects of losing both parents when I came into her life!
Now all the attention she never wanted, that I promised to protect her from, it's all happening now after she came into my life. Yet after everything, I can't promise I can let her go, mom, she had the key to my heart and she threw it in the ocean!"
Nalia heard her son, she let him vent after he hadn't done it in the first place. "She's going to be fine Lucas, I strongly feel that, now come here!", she said, wrapping her son who never wanted to show emotion in a big hug.
Donna and Seth didn't come back when the rest of the security team did, because they felt guilty for leaving so soon, they combed the highways, deciding to track her phone to see if her captors were stupid enough to leave her phone with her.
The device they used to track her phone led them to one of the major express ways in the city, most used when people were leaving the city.
That only meant one thing, hunch one, she was taken outside of the city. The Locator did locate the phone, none of them surprised to see what was once a nice-looking phone now smashed and bashed with the glass from the screen littering the area around it.
"We better call inspector Mag because I don't need to tell you what that means!", Donna said. "On it!", Seth said taking out his phone to place a call to the said inspector.
Hunch two, the captor threw her phone out on the road and drove out of the city.
Inspector Mag who was aware of the case and its severity quickly gave them the information they could possibly need, including the time CCTV picked up the plate numbers of the car, which was the only time that specific car went out that day.
She also told them that the same car headed to a rural settlement with no camera there, meaning CCTV couldn't pick them up after they entered the settlement.
Hunch three, the captor headed to the small village after successfully taking her captive.
" Alert the others, we have a lead!!"Seth said, Donna immediately taking her phone out to call Martin.

Audrey woke up with a banging headache, one which she thought could split her head. Her throat was parched when she woke up and her stomach rumbled as she hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast.
Her eyelids fluttered open, her view clearing to see that she was in an unfamiliar room and she was sleeping in a bed. One thing she could discern even if she was sick was that she wasn't in a hospital.
She sat up, but somehow she was unable to, she turned to see that her left hand was cuffed to the bed. And then the scene from earlier replayed in her head, the one where the guy who she thought was the uber driver made her inhale something and she passed out.
It hit after she thought it through, she had been kidnapped, and now she was here, some place she didn't know. When she thought of kidnap, she thought of ransom, and she wondered who would even worry about her.
'I don't have parents anymore, I wonder if Prisca knows or Lucas, would they come help me?', Audrey thought after she had sat up on the bed, moving gently not to feel the intensity of the headache.
Just when she thought of how much she needed water, she made a creak when she sat up on the bed again, alerting the guard outside.
He opened the door to find that the beautiful lady John brought to the base had finally woken up, Audrey winced seeing the bulky guy staring at her so weirdly.
"Where am I?!", she asked, terrified, hungry and needing explanation. " Just shut up, the boss would be here any minute!!", he said again before he left the room.
The boss!!, Audrey wondered who that could be. She really wanted to get out of there, not only was she tired, she was scared, worried, tired and most of all she missed Lucas a lot.
Even if she caught him kissing the other lady, Audrey was well aware that she was henpecked, she couldn't stop loving him just like that. If at all he was no longer interested, Audrey wondered why he didn't tell her that, why instead of letting her go, he drew her even closer and now it was positive, she really loved him.
