She waited seconds at the front of the building, yet there was no signs of Lucas following after her, John deduced that she was waiting for her ride.
'There's only one way to find out!', John thought before he drove the car right to her front. The woman in question was in tears and it seemed like she needed to get away from something or someone, she didn't even recheck the plate numbers before she entered the car.
'And she's so pretty!', John thought, wondering why a beautiful woman like herself had to be the bait to get Lucas.
All the tears she had suppressed suddenly burst out as she wanted to give the supposed driver the address to where he should go. "Please stop at the fifth street please, the restaurant by the roadside!", Audrey said before she resumed crying her eyes out.
The devastating sight was just too much for her to handle and all she knew was that she needed a breather. After finally catching her breath from all the crying she had done, she raised her head to see that they weren't headed to the fifth street, not even to the restaurant.
" Wait!!", Audrey said with her mascara stricken cheeks, grabbing the attention of who she thought was the cab driver. "Where are you taking me!?!!", Audrey asked, suddenly security conscious.
" Where are you taking….!", Audrey's sentence was cut short when a drugged handkerchief was forcefully placed on her nose by the supposed driver.
Nobody noticed the struggle that Audrey put up before she finally passed out on the backseat of the supposed cab.
And like John was supposed to, he stayed professional by acting natural so he wouldn't be suspected or worse arrested.
With no remorse on his face, not even a Strain on his conscience, John picked up his phone to call his boss. He had great news!!
~~~~~
"Where the hell is she?!!!?!", Lucas yelled as Donna and John cowered, the man was now livid.
Earlier, when he had rushed to her floor to look for her, Sasha told him she just left, saying she wanted to get lunch.
He rushed to the lobby, his phone forwarding a call to Donna and Seth, her security detail.
" What happened!?", Matthew asked, rushing towards the basement parking lot to find Lucas furious about something.
"She's missing!", Seth said facing Matthew. " How did this happen?", Matthew asked, as he was the more logical of the two brothers as at that moment.
"We got word that she ordered food, so, me and Donna went out to get Lunch. After that the boss called asking about her whereabouts and we told him we didn't know!", Seth said, dropping his head, he was well aware that he screwed up.
" Order a search warrant!!", Martin ordered before all of the members of the security detail went to start looking for Audrey.
Matthew knew that Audrey wasn't the kind of person to just run off, so he decided to ask Lucas what went down with both of them.
"Bro, isn't she supposed to be having lunch with you?", Matthew asked. Lucas signed before he answered, h knew he was going to sound crazy.
"Emily came to my office and she kissed me, Audrey saw us in the compromising situation. When I wanted to chase after her, she had already disappeared by then!", Lucas said, his facial expression ain't getting grim by the second.
" That's really appalling! I can't believe she can do something like that!!", Matthew said, feeling really bad for his brother and Audrey.
"All these years, I tried to mind my business as much as possible, but this, this isn't going to slide just like that!!", Lucas said.
" You think Liam did it?!", Martin asked.
"He better not, if not, he's going to get what's coming for him!!", Lucas said.
Matthew sighed, feeling bad for Liam, that was if he was behind it. He knew his brother's rage all too well, and it was not good.
Emily couldn't even look at Lucas's assistant, Craig.
She was now regretful of her actions, wondering why she did such a thing in broad daylight.
She wondered why she didn't try it at his house or anywhere else, at least somewhere she didn't get the judgemental stare from the pesky assistant.
