Deciding to let Emily do whatever she wanted, Tessa stood on standby as Emily rummaged through the room, looking for products to further enhance her beauty.
Lucas didn't even come as early as Emily expected. While she was expecting him to come an hour or two hours after she called, Lucas didn't show up until later.
In the mean time, Emily was engrossed in the tv show she was watching that she didn't notice the angered expression on Tessa's face.
Tessa couldn't just fathom how Emily could be so shallow minded most times. 'So unbelievable sometimes…!', 'I'm here being the only person that truly cares about her, and she ignores my help. I was here last night, crying my eyes out and worrying about her. She then wakes up, thank God and the next thing she asks about is why a fully grown man would be spending time with his girlfriend!'.
"Hey, you're blocking my view!!", Emily said when Tessa's incessant search disrupted her entertainment time. " I'm just about to take a shower!", Tessa said as she was looking for something she could change info after she had her bath.
"Then why the hell are you frowning?", Emily said, her gaze shifting from Tessa to the television. " No, no, it's nothing!", Tessa said as she was mentally not prepared for an argument about Lucas with Emily.
Emily didn't even need to be told twice, she already knew why Tessa was so passive, it was because she invited Lucas to come check on her. (The irony!!).
Tessa came out to the ward, her clothes changed into fresh sets as she had finally gotten rid of the gown she had been wearing since the last night.
After a few hours, where Emily had gotten down from the bed to stroll a bit as her bottom ached, her plight didn't stop her from checking the time again and again after her second session of extraction.
Tessa snickered at Emily, laughing hysterically once in a while after seeing the worry plastered on Emily's face.

"Come on, close the door behind you and be quick!", Liam said as his lackey entered. Even if it was his area of specialty for the boss as assigned by the mistress, he had gotten tired of the boss's obsession with terminating Lucas Walton.
Requested file on hand, the lackey was offered the chair out of Liam's impatience. " Did you do the research?", Liam asked, pushing his glasses as he outstretched his hand for the file.
"Yes boss, I've checked the security detail of his family members!", The lackey said, giving Liam the file. "So, what did you find?", Liam asked again as he skimmed through the contents of the file.
" Each member of his family have their security detail, and it's very tight. Even if they don't follow them in open sight, they're always there, blending with the crowd!", the lackey said, giving the boss a brief report.
He continued, "like I said boss, his family members are going to be hard to deal with!".
Liam closed the report without even reading through, slamming it on the table soon after, as he slumped on his seat, the gears in his head operating again, wondering if he could possibly attack Lucas Walton.
Just when he was about to lose hope, the lackey continued, " but sir, I found something else!". "Say it!", Liam barked orders as he sat up properly on the seat, eager to listen to the " something else".
"I found out that he's been seeing someone, however, I'm not sure if it's for a romantic reason or not. From what I know she doesn't have a security detail!".
"SEEING SOMEONE, SHE DOESNT HAVE A SECURITY DETAIL, SEEING SOMEONE, SHE DOESNT HAVE A SECURIY DETAIL!"
Those were the only words Liam heard as he sat down comfortably in his chair, "I want you to find who that woman is, and I need to know about her!", Liam ordered, his voice laced with mischief.

Enjoying the stars in the sky as they sat on the trunk of Lucas's car, the couple laid there in silence, using their bodies as heaters to repell the cold breeze as their embrace oozed of so much love.
" We need to visit her early so we can go home early!", Audrey mentioned, still cocooned in Lucas's arm.
"Five more seconds!", Lucas said, earning a giggle from Audrey. Tapping on his arm again, Audrey said with a smile plastered on her face, " it's already more than five seconds!".
"Ahhhhh, all I wanted was one day, one day to spend time with you, but no, it just wouldn't happen!", Lucas grumbled as he gently helped Audrey off the car trunk.
" You know what, I'm going to specifically reserve a week for both of us!", Lucas said as he helped her with her seatbelt. Audrey giggled at his protests, waiting for him to take his seat before she asked.
"Why do we need whole week?!", " it's important, I have to get my kisses and cuddles in!", Lucas said, Audrey bursting into a fit of laughter.
Lucas drove away from the mountain and towards the hospital, where Emily was checking the time nonstop like the next few minutes was her birthday or something.
"Will she be agile now?", Audrey said worried as they headed to Emily's ward. "She would be, I mean, she called earlier today!", Lycas said, grabbing the bags and flower Audrey had insisted they bought to wish her a speedy recovery.
" Oh, okay!", Audrey said as she was only able to carry the flowers. They headed to her ward, Lucas following the numbers and instructions, just like the report Craig gave him.
Emily heard a knock on her door and she instantly flipped, in one second she was impatient and the next, she was a sick patient suffering from the after effects of a potent poison.
"Psst, psst!", Emily called Tessa as she urged her to get the door. " Welcome..!", Tessa's words getting stuck in her throat as Lucas brought his girlfriend with him.
Emily wasn't aware of this fact however, Tessa laughing hysterically on the inside at the sudden turn of events. "Come on in!", Tessa said as she opened the door widely for the guests.
Emily's eyes bulged out in disbelief seeing the lady that followed after Lucas, her right hand holding onto Lucas's wrist.
