It's been 6 years since I left the orphanage. Life with Catherine and Jason was really fun. At first it's was kinda awkward between us for a whole month. Later Jason took us to trip to Paris. It helped us to interact more freely. I have to say, it is not easy for Jason as a police officer in Southampton took a leave for 2 whole weeks for us in this trip. Even though he looks pretty intimidating, he is a very easy going person and he loves Catherine very much.
Catherine is a house wife and she likes to cook very much. She tries all kinda dish she stumbles upon and also tries to experiment new dishes. Before my arrival Jason was her lab rat for her experimental cookings after I came Jason got a new partner and she got one more lab rat. She often pester me to call her mother and Jason, father but I couldn't do it. I just call them by their name much to their disappointment.
As for me, due to my near perfect memory. I has been considered as "prodigy" by them. And I achieved good results in British SATs (National Primary School Final Test) and applied to top middle school such as Eton college, Magdalen college and St. Paul's College.
Right now, I am currently in my room trying to levitate a fist sized iron ball of 3 kg in weight.
After I came from orphanage, I tried many times to fly but it didn't work. Even I jumped off from the roof, on top of our house. It didn't quite work out, even my leg was broken. when I was about to give up, one day I accidentally knocked Kate's favourite cup from the table. I wanted to catch it but my hands couldn't reach it, even with my fast reaction speed. My mind was fully intended to catch it as if responding to me the cup suddenly started to levitate just before touching the ground and levitate back to the table with my control. After that day, I have been constantly started to levitate the objects but, there is a weight limit to it. So, I started to practice by slowly increasing the weight of the objects. Currently I can levitate these iron ball for 50 seconds. After putting aside the iron ball, I walked out of the room in exhaustion and moved towards the kitchen.
Ambrose: "Kate, had any letter arrived?"
Kate: "I'm sorry, dear, It seems that it hasn't arrived yet"
She was washing the utensils in the sink, and turned around, gave me a teasing smile.
Kate: "There is actually no need to be so nervous!"
Ambrose: "Nervous? I am not nervous at all!"
I glanced at her, pretending to be calm and walked towards front door. I could hear giggling behind my back without even looking back. I ignored her and ran towards the mail box attached in the front yard there. There was a owl standing on the mail box and I shooed it away. It gave me fierce look before flying away. I ignored it completely and checked, there are three letters inside the box.
First one was the electric bill of the house.
The second envelope was for him, and I slowly opened the envelope;
"Dear Mr. Ambrose :
I am happy to inform you that we decided that your qualifications and talents are enough to study at Eton college and became one of the
199 freshman of Eton college in 1991.
sincerely yours.
Eric Anderson (Head master of Eton)
This was the letter I have been expecting all this time. Kate and Jason will be very happy. At last I can finally start my path to become the business tycoon. And started to day dreaming as I glanced at the last letter.
