"Yo Luke, you have a visitor," Daniel shouted from the other side of my door as he knocked loudly.
"Who?"
"How about you come see for yourself," Daniel replied and then moments later I heard his footsteps walk away from my door.
Sighing, I rolled out from bed and threw on a shirt before making my way downstairs. I was surprised to find Elliot in the kitchen chatting away with Daniel.
"Hey, Luke," he said when he saw me.
I looked at him then at Daniel who looked like he couldn't care less about what was happening. "What are you doing here?" I asked when I finally got my thoughts in order.
Elliot beamed at me, "Do you want to come work with me today?"
I was about to say no, but then he added, "It's a fun project, and I think we'll be able to get a lot done if we work together."
I hesitated for a moment, but then I said, "Sure, I'll help you."
