Clay was standing in front of his closet mirror looking at himself and feeling excited. Clay had dark black short hair and deep black eyes. His face was masculine looking and had a very short beard, this was because he was too lazy to clean shave so he just used a machine.
'Even though I wore this during our wilderness training now this feels so much different.' Clay thought as he examined his camo cargo pants and jacket. Clay had a lean 6ft tall muscular body but he would have been a lanky boy if not for his desire to finally beat his friend and top the combat class.

4 years ago when he got into high school. He always got destroyed in his combat class. Clay since a child had decided to be a hunter because it was cool. So he always trained and thought that he was good at fighting. The combat class was a reality check for him and it made him push himself to the furthest he could and began to get better almost beating the best in combat, Sans Marrow. That's also how he made his best friend.

'I will go to Starlight forest it's the perfect place for long-range beginners. I already got my hunting knife and adventure backpack filled with ammo. I have already gone to the gun range and am confident I can get some kills. I should head to the hunters association afterward to get my hunter's license so that I can get more money from my kills and also emergency info.
After readying up his equipment Clay left his house and drove out of the city towards Starlight Forest it was an hour's ride from the city. As soon as he left the City gates his interface popped up.
*TING*
> Left {Technological} environment <
You will now only be able to use Natural body skills.
Clay wasn't shocked as he expected this after thoroughly reading the logs on his interface.
He was lucky that by the will of Mother Earth {Experienced} was moved to his Natural body instead of {Gifted} which would have been useless in combat.
He drove into Starlight forest's Hunters Association clubhouse parking to park his car in. The clubhouse was a hotel-like building with giant walls and a huge metallic gate.
Famous hunting spots had Hunters' associations clubhouses near them, where hunters could trade materials, and info, and make parties hunt together. It also served as a bar, an inn, and a hospital.
Clay got off his car and jogged to the forest. It was 10-minute away.
Starlight forest is a weird place as it has weird geography, the trees were close together in bundles making the places with trees hard to traverse in but also having empty plots of land right beside the bundles. The sky view makes it look like a polka dot shirt. The trees were oak trees of various heights. Clay got the creeps looking at the darkness inside of the clusters. As he knew elementals could be hiding in. Clay slowly walked towards a sign that read:
-Starlight Forest-
Read necessary information on the Hunter Association website before entering.
Starlight Forest contains a gate to the Starlight dimension. C Rank required to enter.
"When I enter the Association I will probably get an E rank, the lowest of the low, and I will have to take trials to get a higher rank. The association is known for being fair in its trials even craftsmen who wanna join are evaluated on their crafting abilities."
'My ability is kinda weird if my thought process is correct and I get different powers in different environments. Would it be a risk to tell the association?'
'War with the Gierriers isn't the Associations concern their job is to make sure to eliminate any new Bestial King and make sure no new Forgotten Lords are created. If a new lord shows up the delicate balance between humans and beasts would break causing more cities and even planets to vanish. If the Gierriers weren't so ready to strike. The military could help the Association and try to maybe even kill a Lord.' Clay was spissed at the dilemma humans were put in. Not only did they have to worry about attacks from the alien soul-sucking Gierriers but also strong beasts living beside them on the same planets.
'Good thing planet Fennec is a low resource planet with only 5 dimensions. Most high-resource planets have constant wars between humans and beasts to control the dimensions.' As the beasts grow stronger by eating others.
Clay walked past the sign and kept on walking finally he heard what he desperately wanted to.
*TING*
> You have entered {Arboreal} environment <
Calculating affinity…
{Arboreal} affinity: 15%
> Affinity not high enough to get a class <
'Sad. It's understandable though that my knowledge of a forest is lower than the cities. After my hunting is done I should do some research about the forest. Let's hope killing beasts lets me get some affinity, if not then getting high affinity will be very difficult.'
Clay followed the map he got online as he walked he thought about what he had to do next.
'I need to register my blessing type in the Hunter association, I wonder what type mine is. I couldn't find anything related to Mother Earth. This isn't really a big deal as some have been blessed by a dimension never heard of before.
After reaching a hilltop with a few bushes Clay set up his sniper, he put a thick silencer and a detachable bipod leg on it. The spot Clay had chosen was overlooking a river. As he was on the outskirts some non-elemental beasts could be seen.
Clay using his sniper scope zoomed in on an Armored vulture. The Vulture was chilling on top of a rock pecking at its body. The vulture was nearly 7 feet with a muscular body. Its feathers were akin to armor guarding all of its body except its eyes and neck.
'In the movies, vultures are always in a desert feels weird to see them in such a lush forest.'
The sniper felt alive in Clay's hands. With his skill, he knew everything about the gun and get confident he could one-shot anything as long his gun was strong enough.
*Pssh*
The sniper shot a powerful silenced shot.
*PA*
The Vulture's neck was torn apart and the head flew away spilling blood everywhere.
'This skill is going to make me cocky.'
> Your affinity slightly increased <
"Good, very good"
'Even though it is slight it's very good news for me, as I increase my affinity and get stronger skills I should be able to kill more and stronger beasts. That should increase my affinity gain.'
Clay spend 2 hours hunting multiple beasts until he ran out of ammo.
'Wow that was hard I can't even feel my hand but it was all worth it, my affinity increased by 2%. It's now at 17%. It's getting late I better hurry home.'
'I can kill beasts here to get arboreal affinity but what about technological? Will killing humans increase it?'
'I remember the first time we killed a beast in beast hunting class, I almost threw up but now I am feeling sick because I killed so many beasts but I feel sick cause I am not able to get all that loot. That much loot would cover my expenses for months.'
'I probably should contact the association to pick up the loot as I am not a hunter yet I will get paid less than if I was a hunter. Well, what's done is done.'
'I will join the association after I get my Arboreal skills, so I can just say that I got blessed by a natural or animal dimension. People who are blessed with technological skills are always under strict watch by the association and military.'
