" I wonder whether she knows it too that Mark that idiot is fucking Harriet , most of the people know it " , Justin hissed out . " I really thought at first that , that man has sense , women should be treated with love and care " , l murmured while shaking my head . " I have feeling that woman is a golddigger , no woman can live with an idiot like him " , l felt anger build up in my body at his words .
" She didn't look like one " , Just like business men , l acted professionally and played it cool . " You do know that even if you say anything , she isn't going to leave him , they never do apart , no matter what , she is comfortable with his behavior , l think she doesn't get hurt " ,He murmured and l swung my head around and glared at Him . I was trying to control myself but he was still pissing me off .
" Don't Justin , don't push me on this , don't jump in to my life like you Know the best " , I spoke out before gulping down the wine . I was about to lose my shit and l didn't want to hate Justin just because of the woman , l had a night with . At that he didn't respond sooner and we were covered up in silence for a while before Ivan , Alexa's kid ran to me with a big smile on his face.
" Look l have found a giant ball for us to play with " , He murmured excitedly while grabbing my hand . " Be careful you playing with fire " , Justin hissed out as he watched me smile back to the kid . " Let's go little man " , ignoring him , l grabbed the kid's hand and walked with him in the garden .
I know it that for a billionaire this was a bit strange but l wanted to give the kid the attention he was craving from his father . Just like l wanted to make his mother special , l also wanted to do the same for the kids .
ALEXA'S POV .
We are all out on the deck watching the kids run around like crazy . It was nice seeing my girls run around with Eva . I didn't know where Ivan was but l had a feeling that he was with Adrian .
" You okay sweetie , I'm sorry if Justin put you in that situation , he didn't mean any bad thing about you , he just dislikes your husband " , Just as l was watching my girls have fun , Michelle's voice interrupted the train if my thoughts . " I do get you " , l nodded my head before l turned my stare at the kids .
What hurt me was that , currently l'm seeing a lot of people who hate Mark . I Know , l was living with him for the sake of the kids but now everyone could see it , every one disliked him . " Ain't you annoyed " , Again Michelle broke out . " I know I'm sorry , snapping at him wasn't needed either , l didn't mean it " , l turned to her with a plastic smile on my face .
" I hope this doesn't change anything between us '', l added while feeling bad this time . I was totally different from Bella my friend . She was wild and free who lives freely with no stress and having only one night stands with whoever she wants but their's me who is nothing like her. Am always stressed with kids and the untrustworthy husband . The only thing l do every night is just cry .
" At least our kids can play together " , Michelle again intervened in the train of my thoughts . " Yes " , l replied simply but l felt tears form in my eyes . I know the only thing l do is crying but this time it wasn't because of sadness but happiness . This is what my kids always wanted and also Ivan was happy to find someone like Adrian .
" Does he speak to you like that every time , l know he is always stressed out from work but he shouldn't speak to you or the kids like that " , Michelle's words only made me to feel pissed off . I didn't usually want people who pry into my life but per now everyone knew the way Mark mistreated me , there was nothing more to hide .
I didn't even remember anytime , me and Mark have ever had a pleasant conversation . Everytime Mark usually shouted at me for not cleaning up the house , how l only spend my time eating and then become fat . " No he doesn't , he is just trying to land this contract so he can get higher up , he is even glad that Mr Adrian promoted him " , l lastly murmured defending Mark but inwardly l was dying .
" Mr Adrian , oh ! My goodness he hasn't stopped looking at you , l have never seen him like that " , She changed the topic but l regretted it inwardly , l didn't want further problems . " Ohh ! " , I forced up a smile . " Justin told me that , he hung up with a married woman , I don't know the reason why he went there in the first place , getting that woman won't be simple " , l held up my breath at her words and l didn't turn to look at her , l only kept my gaze on my girls . I was the married woman ,she was talking about and l knew it that once I look in her eyes , she will straight forwardly notice it .
