After a few moments, it finally fell dead onto the floor. Elix stepped over it as he looked up at Shing. "Now that it's down, can you please shut up already?"
Shing rolled his eyes, but remained silent.
Before long, Elix was able to clear out the entire clearing of monsters. Once he returned, he helped carry away the carcass of the wolf, leaving the trees and forest completely empty once again. The two of them went home without too much trouble.
On top of Elix's new character, they now had two other friends: Fuegoleon and Lio. Both of them were pretty cool characters, especially Lio, who seemed to enjoy playing pranks on Elix. Although Elix never really played pranks on anyone, he still couldn't deny that Fuegoleon was a great player.
After clearing out the area, Elix set out looking for any signs of life in the forest. Since Shing was still unable to see the future, he had no idea what was coming. In Elix's experience, the creatures that lived in these woods were dangerous. Every so often, Elix came across one of them, and he always took careful note of them. For safety purposes, he kept his equipment updated as well.
Eventually, he stumbled upon a cave. It was big enough to fit both Shing and himself comfortably. Unfortunately, there weren't any openings to allow them to escape. Instead of waiting around for another monster to appear, Elix figured that since his skills were improving faster than usual, he would simply try to beat it. So he took out one of his daggers and began to stab. The knife cut through the air with ease. Before long, Elix finished off the werewolf in record time. He took care of the rest of his enemies, including the giant lizard with a horned helmet. As the last monster collapsed in front of him
