Leaping with all her might, she went for his neck with her sword, however, before her sword could hit him, she stopped mid-way, turned the blades into a powerful whirl on both hands and directed it at him.
"Stupid."
To her surprise, Xavier neither dodged nor moved a muscle from where he stood and watched as her attack rushed at him.
Everyone rose to their feet when they saw this. With her sudden change in the sky, they had expected him to dodge the attack and not just take it head-on.
But being who he was, he did so.
Dust erupted everywhere around them, forming a smoke screen and blinding everyone's view.
For a moment there, Raven wished and hoped she had gotten him but when she peered closer while remaining in the air, her eyes went wide in shock.
