CHAPTER 127 – Aragorn's Resolve
With everyone walking away from the divine tree, the older lady took a step out from amongst the ticket of bushes not so far from the divine tree with a wanton smile on her face as she peered ahead.
Her green eyes shone under the afternoon sky but the cold look on her face spoke of a different tale.
"And so it begins. The tale of two hearts," she enunciated before taking further steps forward.
"As much as it pains me to see this, Skylar but there is nothing I can do. You were destined to hurt one if you pick one. Or hurt both should your decisions become selfless."
She looked at the divine tree as though seeking wisdom from it.
"You've been silent since she came here. You know she would need you now more than ever. Reconnect with her. And perhaps she may be able to avoid the turmoil she is meant to face. Else, I do not know if I can help."
