To add to what he meant, his smile broadened as he took a step closer and the next thing Raven knew, he kicked her right foot, disrupting her stance and sending her body falling right down.
Luckily for her, before she got to kiss the floor, he caught and brought her up and then took a step back.
"With a stance like that Raven," Xavier called out and yanked the sword from her grip.
It was a surprise it did not fall off with her just now.
Rather than thinking of her body being injured, she held on to the sword for dear life.
"You'd be dead faster than you can take the next breathe," Xavier's words descended on her like a judgement from the god's.
"That is what you would teach me, to prevent that, right?"
"Right. And as first measure, we need to get you out of those."
His eyes raked her body, silently laying emphasis on er dress.
