CHAPTER 80 – His Silly Thoughts
How Xavier's face remained calm and emotionless while he questioned her made Raven almost choke when she snapped her head to see if he really asked that question.
Time seemed to have stopped for Raven who could not believe he would shamelessly ask her that.
Still, his words replayed in her mind nonstop.
'That you would be willing to mate me if I was your only choice?'
Raven couldn't believe he would be shameless enough to say that to her.
Wasn't he the one stating not quite long that she was young and a baby? If he saw her that way, why would he ask this of her now?
She was at a loss no matter how much time was spent as her brain tried to reason things out.
Snapping a finger in front of her face, Xavier pulled her mind out of her thoughts into reality.
"Huh?"
"Is mating with me that bad for you to be so lost in thought about it?"
"Uh…"
