Sky was at a big loss for words to say as regards those words. She did not want it to be what her mind said, but she could not deny it.
However, as compared to what she felt when she was with Xander, it was pretty much different.
"Sky."
"Hmm?"
"Speak to me. Please."
She could feel his emotions in his voice. She did not need him to say it and she could not deny it either.
Her absence had pulled out the feeling he had for her. But she never felt that way about him.
She breathed out sharply. Her face was calm to the best of her abilities as she brushed her hair off her face. "I am sorry for taking so long to return to the village and to you, my best friend."
Having her call him that, Azra felt satisfied beyond words.
