CHAPTER 68
The term lost in a book remained a mystery to Raven until today.
Usually, she read and was lost while doing so, but never did she read any book and be entirely, completely lost this way.
It was a tale of two lovers who played against destiny and got separated in time. In hopes of getting back the other, they went through different trials in life.
In the end, when their paths crossed each other again, it was on a battlefield with the male dying in her arms, having been killed by her people.
Her rage escalated; her pain tore through her. Not wanting to lose him again after years of trying to be together, the young mage decided to go against nature, knowing the consequences involved.
Taking his body away, she did different spells and checked various texts until she found that spell that reversed time and fate's design, bringing him back to life.
