Having Sky leave the Aisle, Raven felt her absence for the first day but to her amazement, Xander and Sky's words came through.
Just on the second day when she was beginning to doubt if Xavier would ever agree to her leaving her room, a soft knock came on her door, pulling her out of her thoughts.
Straight away she gave her permission without giving it much thought.
"Come."
It was only then she did, that Raven understood that a part of her secretly wished all she was told to be true.
Even to the point that waiting for the door to be open became like an eternal battle. And once it was pushed open and her visitor revealed his face, she breathed out sharply.
Rising to her feet, Raven clasped her hands behind her. With her chin lifted up slightly she kept a firm look at him, not uttering a word.
