She smiled, loving how grumpy he had become. Her smile though was soon cut off when she saw Xavier and Layla begin to leave.
"Huh, wait."
"Nope. I gave you a chance, but you failed to use it," Xavier reminded her.
"No. I… Damn it," Raven cursed and rose to her feet in a hurry. She left her seat, fixing things the way she met them and ran up to them.
Surprisingly, for people who were not walking fast, the distance they covered in such a short time left her confused.
Suddenly she felt the air around her twirl, spinning further as her body was pushed forward to meet them.
"Ah!" She gasped loudly from the sudden impact.
With the wind coming to an abrupt stop, Raven heaved a loud sigh. She cast a side glance at him.
He kept his face straight and innocent as though what had happened did not come from him.
"Hmph! You are a dragon-like any one of us, yet you know so much magic. How come?"
