Chapter 31 - August Visitors.

Moses hung up and handed the phone over to Kim who was still standing behind him

"Please tell my driver to get the white BMW ready immediately, I have to head to the office as soon as possible." He instructed. Kim nodded and hastily left the room to carry out this order. He rushed out of the living room and ran up the stairs to his room to get dressed. He got into the bathroom and turned on the shower, he could feel his anger boiling within him as he could already tell it had something to do with Bimbo. He never would have imagined that his life would take such a terrible turn because of one ugly mistake he had made on that fateful night and now, his father had never failed to seize every opportunity to rub it on him.

In a few minutes, he was out of the bathroom and quickly picked a very casual outfit since he had no intention of staying back at the office; a Grey T-shirt and a pair of denim pants. He wore his favorite Gucci sandals and on his wrist was his highly cherished Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime that his Grandpa George had gifted him for his last birthday. The wristwatch was worth several million dollars and he treasured it above anything else, not because of how expensive it was but because of the person who gifted it to him; His beloved Grandpa.

Moses strode out of the house with an expressionless face to the car which was already waiting for him at the porch. And soon they were off to the company where his father was waiting with his grandfather.

In about twenty minutes, the sparkling white BMW drove into the company premises and even the car was stoped for him to alright, he spotted some employees running about the premises in panic because obviously no one expected him to show up today but he totally ignored them; today was not that day for them. As he stepped into the building, his Personal assistant was already waiting for him at the reception.

"Hello Gerald!" Moses exclaimed with an unusual smile that got Gerald almost peeing his pants. "Ohhh Gerald, you're in so much trouble now" he thought to himself as beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

"Welcome Sir, I must apologise for the inconveniences sir but I did try to make them understand that you weren't feeling well today and thus needed some rest but Sir David your father and Master George your grandfather would not budge, they insisted that I call you at once." Gerald explained as he struggled to keep up the pace with his boss. Moses stopped abruptly and turned to face the troubled man.

"I know my Dad and my grandpa far too well, there's absolutely nothing you'd have said that would have made them leave and if you had persisted in your stubbornness, you probably would have been on the verge of losing your job by now." He smiled and patted the confused man on the shoulder before proceeding to the elevator. Gerald stood with mouth agape like he had seen a ghost, "Is he serious? like he'd just let me go if Sir David and Master George said so? Wow! The Flinns will never cease to amaze me." he thought aloud. He adjusted his tie and proceeded to use the stairs; no one outside the Flinn family was permitted to use the elevator unless the boss had given the order or the person had reasons to accompany the boss.

"Hello Dad, hello Grandpa. This is such a pleasant surprise! I almost didn't believe it when I was informed that you two are in town." Moses said forcing a smile as he casually strode into his office. With one quick glance he noticed his Grandfather was comfortably seated at the Chairman's chair with a glass of scotch in his hand; of course it was his company and he could sit wherever he chose to sit while his father say on the rocking chair by the window.

"You do realize that you happen to be a horrible liar right? One thing is certain about you, you do not do well will lies and in this very situation, I believe you didn't have to lie that you are pleased with this August visit of ours." His father replied with a smirk and took a sip from the glass of red wine that he was clasping with his two hands. But the old man smiled cheerfully as he stretched his hands towards his grandson.

"Moses, come here son." and Moses rushed into his embrace with a big grin on his face.

"Ahhhh, see how big and handsome you have grown. I see that you have done such a wonderful job with the company, I must confess that I am impressed and very proud of you even though your father refuses to acknowledge your good work. He apparently has a bad taste when it's got to do with acknowledging the good works of others." the old man said giving David his son the side eye and he and Moses laughed at the joke.

"Grandpa I'm so so happy to see you again, you don't seem to have aged at all since the last time I saw you. Don't tell me you are still holding on to your secret recipe for youthfulness..."
