"Emily, I am not singing at the school festival." Like every other day at school, Emily decided to try to persuade me to go to that stupid school festival held near the end of the year.
"But your so good at singing! C'mon."
Ugh…she's so persistent.
"My aunt wouldn't let me anyways, plus I need to do well on my exams you Chihuahua."
Maybe that was too much, but honestly, she yaps so much for a dog, she must be.
"Fine." Must she always give this pout every. Single. Day.
"Uff" fuck, who'd I run into… please don't be
Josh Keep
I might as well slip away now but-
"Hey! Don't just walk away!"
As much as I hate him, he has looks. And definitely some firepower. Last year he beat a kid black and blue because they cleaned their glasses after looking at them.
So, as per usual, not wanting to get beat, I scrammed. Blurring out Josh's words, which I realize aren't as aggressive as I thought.
"We'll talk later Emily!" Maybe.
However, I think she's already begun praying.
However, I forgot that Josh has much longer legs than me, with two strides his hands have already wrapped around my chest, making me have to completely stop.
God please get me out of this, haven't I suffered enough?!
Apparently not, I could tell just by Josh's sigh he wasn't done. Is it so bad though, he's so muscular, his hands feel like iron feathers, smooth and soft, yet it had weight.
As I looked up I could see his perfect jaw line, those dark green eyes could just swallow me whole.
Shit! He's staring back!?
"Gulp-umm J-josh? Can we perhaps have a conversation about this?"
Yes. A conversation with this handsome brute would be a miracle.
******
(Josh's prospective)
"See you at practice kiddo!"
Coach Trey…. Never calls anyone by their name, he's really pissing me off lately.
Today's started off shitty, I can't find David and I'm beginning to think he hasn't come. I need something. No, someone to make me relaxed.
But I can't find Ash anywhere…where'd that wolf run off to.
However, it seems life wants me to suffer.
A kid, probably about 5'7 crashed into my shoulder, stopping my thoughts.
Ugh… I just want to see the solution to my problems, what's so wrong with wanting something so good?
Waiting for the kid to apologize, I notice he's getting ready to book it so I mustered my thoughts and yelled
"Hey! Don't just walk away!"
Am I being too aggressive? He seems scared as he says something about meeting his friend later, who I just noticed was there.
Emily Frail? But she only has one…
Ash Valor?
Hoho, there's no way I'm letting Ash get away, I need him right now.
God I apologize for what I said earlier, thank you.
Quickly lunging myself onto him, I wrapped both of my arms around him, He's not going anywhere. The aroma he produced to this world simply killed me.
Sweet and tangy. Cold yet wholesome, beautiful and tasty…
He is mine.
Wait, is he looking at me while shaking? Is he scared of me!?
Shit!!! I've locked eyes with him.
His eyes…that calm dark black with specs of a dark blue…
A limitless sky. An unparalleled masterpiece. I need him. Now.
He's aloof and cute, yet he knows how to press buttons.
And his Jett black, smooth, and curly hair reaching his eyes.
His jaw… the calm demeanor on his face yet seemingly quaking under me. I can't think such thoughts just yet. For now. He's still 17.
"umm J-josh? Can we perhaps have a conversation about this?"
Broken from my thought his voice graced me, though I don't think he was enjoying this as much as me.
He seriously thinks I'm going to hurt him? Never.
I've beat up kids relentlessly for speaking ill of him.
*****
(Slight Josh Flashback to last year)
This blaring heat was hell inside, but it's been worse, however, I can't find Ash.
He's nowhere inside, yet I couldn't imagine him being out here. I'm doused, with beads of sweat everywhere.
Then again, I want to see him more now. I want to watch him as his sweat drops from his head and makes its way below his shirt. I want to see him wipe his moist forehead as he scrutinizes to see his laptop from the sun's glare.
Just the thought of him makes me want to lick my lips. I'm reenergized.
Walking around the field I noticed a kid on the side of our open-like school snickering in the direction I was heading. Following his line of sight, there he was.
I finally found Ash. But what was this nobody doing?
"I can believe Ash actually believed someone wrote him a love letter and has been waiting here for his whole lunch break."
He did not just.
