One following Sunday as he was in the final minutes of church service , Fireball and a host of angels started gathering around Jay.
Then Jay saw a vision of the Prince clothed in a robe. The Prince looked at him with compassion and love. Jay could see the longhaired man from Nazareth smiling at him. His beautiful, thick, brownish hair fell a little past his shoulders. Didn't I promise you that I will restore everything?" The blood inside his wrists began to flow out from his wounds. It smudged on the cuffs of his robe
"The blood still flows from my veins for the redemption of all who believe in me. Not just one time, but it still has the power. My blood still redeems and restores everything that you've lost. "All of it—for you to see your dreams come to pass. All of it so my words will come true for you. All of it—for the promises I promised you. All of it, Jay, all of it. I fought for you, and I'd fight for you again to my last breath. My Father, my Spirit, and I—we will all fight for you and see you through, our beloved."
Jay stared. The floor was getting stained with the Prince's blood in the vision. It washed away his past hurts of failed relationships.
The moment had come. The Emperor looked through the windows of Blue primus, his Spirit directing the feet of someone walking toward Jay. The glow of the Trinity's presence was filling the sanctuary of the church.
Jay had his eyes closed and was absorbed in the descant music that spread like sweet fragrance as the service was ending. The footsteps got closer.
"Excuse me, do you mind if I pray for you?" said a female voice that was so clear, so pure, and had so much freshness.
He opened his eyes and almost gasped. In front of him stood a tall, beautiful girl. Her smooth, bleached blonde hair flowed like silk beyond her shoulders. She wore a white tee shirt with dark blue skinny jeans. She was about five feet seven and had a very athletic, beautiful form, lovely blue eyes with pretty eyelashes. Her smile swept him off his feet. He tripped over his words as he blinked and said, "Yes ofcourse, please do."
The beautiful soul began to pray, "Father, I thank you for this precious son of yours who is visiting our church. I thank you that your love is upon him and that it's a beautiful start you have given him. I thank you that he is about to get spoiled by your blessings. I thank you that you have provided for all his l needs, and you are going to make all his dreams come true. Thank you, Lord. Bless this son of yours."
Jay opened his eyes. He was almost shaking as she prayed. "How did she know all of this? Who is this bombshell?" he wondered.
The beautiful soul smiled at him and said, "Hi, I'm April. I'm one of the greeters. Thank you for coming, and I hope you'll stay after the service and meet people here and I love your hair," April said.
Jay loved that name. He was falling in love, and he didn't know what to do. He closed his eyes and was tongue-tied until he felt a nudging—it was Fireball. Jay was loosened up again, so he straightened up and spoke. "Hi, I'm Jay. Hey, I loved the choir and everything about the service today.I'd love to meet the people here of course" he replied
"That's great .Where are you from? Asked April
"I stay in Dubai and just here on a visit" he replied
"So what do you do?" Asked Jay
"Oh, I work in a café, and sometimes I also help as a chef or help manage the café. Cooking and baking are two of the things I'm passionate about." She smiled. "What do you do?"
"I managed a café.I also cook ".
"Oh wow! Maybe you could work in our café if you'd like to," April said. "Can you tell me more about your work experience?"
Jay was taken aback by her warmth and love that seemed to radiate. After a long pause, he realized he needed to say something. "Wow, thank you so much! I'd love that." Then he added, "Actually, I have few years' experience in continental food and im also a mixologist".
She looked at him and said, "Please wait a moment. Let me just get some information."
Jay noticed all the other guys in the room were watching the young lady running to one of her friends, who was ushering. Then the two walked toward Jay.
April introduced Jay and her friend Claire to each other.
Claire said, "Hi! Welcome to our church! I'm the owner of the café, along with my business partner boyfriend. April is a good friend of mine, and because she's also trustworthy and hardworking, she's been helping us run the café. If you're interested, you can help out at our café too. No pressure"
Jay immediately blurted out looking at April, "I would love that." Then he thought, "Oh shucks, I answered too quickly and I looked at April instead of Claire. I hope April doesn't notice that I'm attracted to her."
Claire said, "Great, we can work out a plan. I can talk to my partner and see what could be done in the kitchen or where you would fit in. We will discuss it, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible, so hang in there, Jay." She smiled
He definitely did not want to tell April that he was a singer. He did not want this to be a repeat of the past as with the girls he dated.
April was called by one of the ushers. "Please excuse me," she said as she went over to meet with some people on the ushering team.
Jay got a call from Damien on his phone. "Where are you, Jay? Come outside. We're waiting for you, buddy."
Jay looked for April but couldn't find her. He looked all over. He had to go, but he had her in his mind. "Dang! I didn't even get her phone number," he thought. "I'll meet her next week." Jay jumped into the car with Damien and his family, and they drove downtown to have lunch. Damien was planning to leave town on a business trip and would be back only after a few weeks.
The following week, Jay got in touch with a couple concert promoters through his US. contacts. He was trying to make new connections for a potential band tour in the future. He was able to meet a few people in the music business in the greater Seattle area who would be able to help him organize a tour with his band Esh Mabul. They sat down to discuss the pros and cons. As the days passed, plans began to materialize.
The next Sunday, Jay went back to the church alone. After the service, he saw April talking to her friends. He began to walk toward her.
She had just finished talking to her friends when she noticed Jay walking toward her. She smiled so beautifully and said, "Hello, there. How are you, Mr. Dreadlocks?"
Jay walked up and shook her hand. He said, "Your hand is as soft as a baby's skin."
She laughed. Funny you saying that. "How was the service? Did you enjoy your time here?"
"Yes, it was so awesome. Loved it." Replied Jay
"Oh wow, nothing like his presence!" She smiled with her eyes bright
She was so cute with her smile and her innocence. Jay had to really hold himself back. This was crazy. He said in his heart, "Oh Emperor! looks like I'm going to fall for her."
Jay was shell-shocked. Everything seemed to be going in a perfect flow. Jay wasn't even sure what he was thinking. There were a few things he needed to know before he even went out with this girl. he prayed in his heart. "Am I supposed to pursue this girl?"
Fireball chuckled. He could hardly hold his excitement.
"Lord, is she single? Is she pure?" he prayed in his heart. He glanced at her hands. There was no ring on her left ring finger, but she wore a ring on her right ring finger. "Okay, so sooner or later I'm gonna ask her if she's single, but I will have to be careful with that" Jay thought. "I don't want her to suspect anything. So far, I haven't seen her hanging out with any of the guys here. She has just a few girlfriends. All the guys seem to eye her, but she seems to keep out of reach. Hmm... strange. Strange, but good." He thought
As the week went on, Jay had to continue meeting people to talk about planning events. He was also in discussions with the producer in Nashville to plan the dates and recording schedule to work on Esh Mabul's album recording.
He attended church again the next Sunday. He saw April in the second row. She smiled with her eyes closed as everyone was singing. After some time she opened her eyes and suddenly spotted Jay and smiled at him and waved discreetly. He responded in a similar fashion.
After service, April quickly came over to meet Jay. She gave such a warm smile and said, "Hey there, Jay."
Jay shook her hand.
"I'm so hungry and if you could give me company. I'd like to take you out for lunch," Jay said point blank as he looked into her eyes.
By that time, everyone else had left the sanctuary, and they were alone. The stained glass windows of the sanctuary were to the left of where April stood, and the first row of pews was on the right. Suddenly, Jay was frozen in a moment of time. He had a flashback of seeing the Prince in the dream he had years ago, standing in the exact same position as April. The Prince had told him that he would restore everything.
That moment, April was looking back into his eyes. Jay was lovestruck.
"Yes, I'd totally love that," she said as she smiled.
"Okay. Shall... shall we go now?" Jay asked.
"Yes, right away," April said with a cheerful laugh seeing his impatience. "There are cafés down the road next to the river. We can find a good one.Claire will pick me up in a few hours and I'll tell her to give you a ride home."
"Okay that's great! Thank you. And Yes, let's go there to the café," said Jay.
Jay and April walked out together on that beautiful afternoon. They had to walk a bit to reach the café, but it was a lovely, sunny day. It was still cold, but it wasn't snowing anymore because winter was coming to an end. The chimes jingled as they opened the door. The café smelled strongly of roasted coffee beans. There were just two or three other customers. There were dog paintings everywhere.
A middle aged man at the counter lifted his head and smiled. "Please have a seat. When you are ready I'll take your orders."
A cute, orange tabby walked up to Jay and rubbed her face on his feet. "She likes you," the owner said. "Don't mind That's our cat. She's friendly."
Jay and April smiled. April bent down to stroke the tabby, and the cat purred. Then April and Jay looked around to see where they would sit. There was a spiral staircase. They walked to the bottom of it and looked up.
"You can definitely go up there. The view is even better if you like to go out to the terrace, and it's very peaceful," the old man said.
"Shall we?" Jay pointed upwards.
April smiled. "Yes, let's go after we order."
Jay and April looked at the menu at the counter.
"What would you like to eat and drink?" Jay asked.
"I'll have a chicken Caesar salad and lemonade," April said.
"I'll go with a club sandwich and a lemonade," Jay said.
The man at the counter repeated the order and then said, "Please give us fifteen to twenty minutes for the order. I'll send it up to you."
Jay and April climbed the stairwell and reached the top. The room had glass doors that opened out to a terrace and a beautiful view of the Snohomish River.
"Wow, this is beautiful," April said excitedly as they sat down at a table near the glass doors.
"So how did you grow your hair that long? It is so well maintained," April said.
"Thanks, it has been more than a decade."
"Oh wow!"
"I think you dress well," said Jay.
"Oh, I do? Thank you. Most times I like to mix it up, from casuals to pencil skirts and shirts and at times dress like a punk rocker,. Depends on my mood and the occasion," April said.
"On what occasion do you wear a punk rocker outfit?" asked Jay
"Oh, that would be when I go with my friends to concerts. I like music a lot, and I grew up listening to Avril Lavigne. I guess I got a lot of inspiration from that."
"I can see that," Jay said as he smiled.
" I like classic rock, blues, jazz, and some punk and nu metal kind of music," said April .
"Oh, that's some great taste!" Jay replied
"What about you?"asked April
"I like all kinds of music. It depends on my mood, though." Jay replied subtly
April smiled. " I am also a seer. You know what a seer is?"
"Yes, I know what a seer is." Jay said. Jay was a seer, too, but he was not going to say anything else. He was going to wait like Eliezer in the Primus Script to see if all this was going the right way.
"So, tell me more about yourself did you grow up in Seattle" Jay asked.
April's pretty eyes brightened as she was about to speak.
Just then, the food and beverages arrived.
"Since the food is here, why don't you dig in?" Jay asked.
"I think it would be nice for you to enjoy your food while you listen to me. So please eat, Jay," April said. "Besides, I really like to talk a bit about myself"
"No, we can start eating together," Jay said as he grabbed his sandwich, ready to take a mouthful.
April laughed as she reached out and gently grabbed his arm, startling Jay. "Okay, can we pray first?"
Jay smiled and said, "Oh yes, of course."
April and Jay closed their eyes, and April prayed to give thanks for the meal. When April was finished, they began to eat. They ate their lunch looking at the river. When April was halfway done, she said, "Okay, I'm going to begin."
Jay smiled and nodded.
"Mum and Dad—their names are Agnes and Anderson Klaus—. When I was three, I gave my heart to the Lord.
"I have two older brothers, Liam and Noah. My brothers would play football with me. I was like a boy, playing all the rough games, but they were very gentle with me because I was skinny and frail. They always loved me a lot, and we have a very close relationship even now. Every weekend, Dad used to take us for walks. We would go into the woods with our Alaskan malamute, Shadow."
"Wow, I like the name Shadow," Jay interrupted. "Sorry, carry on."
April smiled. "Oh yes, Shadow. He's adorable. Do you like dogs?"
"Yeah, I used to have a German shepherd called Rookie. We loved him. He got really old, and my parents finally had to put him down some years ago." Jay dropped his eyes and looked down at the table.
April touched Jays arm, "I'm so sorry to hear that."
Jay smiled at her and said, "That's okay. Please continue your story."
April nodded. "So the Lord told me to be pure and to live with integrity and virtue."
Jay leaned forward with his arms on the table and his chin resting on his fist. Inside his head, he was talking to the Emperor. His voice came through to Blue primus with clarity and urgency. The broadcast was very clear in Blue primus. "Father, I want to hear more on her purity. I need a sign from you. I can't ask her. You've got to show me, Father. Can you hear me?"
April suddenly interrupted Jay's thoughts, saying, "Hey, look how the sunlight is hitting the river. It's so pretty!"
"Do you want to sit outside?" Jay asked, pointing to a table with two chairs on the terrace.
"Sure."
When they sat down under the bright, afternoon sunlight, a soft breeze that was just a bit warm for the winter gently flowed around them. It was as if the breeze was embracing them. Jay could feel a beautiful presence of the Emperor.
April closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, enjoying the Trinity's presence. Her bleached blonde golden locks shone in the sunlight, and the skin of her face glowed so beautifully. Jay wished to touch it, but he restrained himself.
" So, here I was in junior high. I loved dancing, and I loved singing. These two things were totally my favorites. I began to also act in plays, in high school musicals and in church."
"I'm sure you had a lot of fans," Jay said.
"Well, you know boys—they just made comments because I wore braces in school."
Jay was loving every moment of this. She was so transparent and honest.
"My work is to go out there, encourage and build people up, and even help people find their role in this world.
"I love singing, but I was asked to not sing in the choir because I would sing so high and loud. Then I was sad for some time because I did not believe in myself. But in time I improved.
"When I got into college, there were so many things around me that I couldn't agree with. There was drinking and partying all over the place, and most people slept around. It was all new to me made me uncomfortable because everyone else had boyfriends and girlfriends, they would mock me and say mean things like, 'You're a hot girl, but you don't even have a boyfriend. You must be a prude.' Some of my classmates found out that I had never dated all through college, because I wasn't sure about the guys and their commitments I've heard about broken relationships so I stayed out of that."
"Wow, I'm really amazed all this I'm hearing" Jay said.
April smiled shyly as she combed the fingers of her right hand through her hair.
As she did this, Jay's eyes fell on the ring she had been wearing on that hand. It had a very unusual shape and a deep green stone in it. "That's a really nice ring," he said.
"Thank you," April said. "Hey, I still don't know much about you. For starters, is Jay a short version of your name or do you have a full name?"
"Maybe," said Jay as he smiled and closed his eyes.
April started laughing. "Aww, stop teasing me!"
Jay threw his head back and laughed.
"Oh, come on, what is it?" She started twisting her ring so that the stone went around her finger.
"By the way, I'm not very good with gems, but I'm taking a wild guess. Is that stone an emerald by any chance?" asked Jay
April said with a grin, "I'll tell you if you tell me your full name."
Jay laughed and said, "Okay, it's Jayden. Now tell me what stone it is."
"Wait, are you kidding? Did you just say your name is 'Jade'?"
"No, I said, 'Jayden.' JAY-DEN."
April raised her eyebrows as she said, "This stone is a jade."
Jay's eyes widened. "Now that's crazy, wow!"
"Yeah, what a coincidence!" April said as they both laughed. "It's jade because green is my favourite color. Green is also a symbol of the beautiful promise of life . Anyway, what's your last name? Wait, don't tell me your last name is 'Green,'" she said, laughing.
Jay wasn't laughing. His eyes grew wider than before. "Wait, are you serious—what you said about the color green and the meaning?"
"yeah its life. Why?"asked a very curious April
"My last name is Hayath."
"Hayath?"
"Yes. It means 'life' in Arabic.
April gasped. She was bewildered. She prayed in her heart, "Lord, are you confirming something to me about him?"
Immediately, Jay started thinking, "Oh my gosh, maybe the Trinity is trying to tell me something. But I need to find out who gave her the ring." Then he said to April, "Girls usually wear rings on the left hand. Why would you wear it on the right hand?" Jay teased. "Did someone gift it to you or...?"
April smiled and said, "My father gave it to me."
"Oh! Was there a special occasion?" Jay asked.
April paused for a moment. Then she asked, "Do you really want to hear the story?"
"Yes, of course. I'd love to," Jay said.
"This ring was given to me by my father when I was thirteen. He told me to wear it till my wedding day. This ring symbolises that I made a commitment to remain pure and wait until marriage and that I would wait for whoever he is." There was such an atmosphere of sincerity about Jay that April felt comfortable sharing more of her personal life than she normally would with a guy.
"Wow, I'm impressed!" Jay said with amazement.
"I have never actually been in a relationship with a guy because I've never met a guy who had the same commitment and values as I do. I have been tempted at times, but whenever I felt drawn to a guy to commit,. As I would pray, I felt I must wait. So I've never had a boyfriend, though I'm in my late-twenties now. I've waited for so long."
Jay thought, "It's almost unbelievable this babe has never had a boyfriend, but the Emperor is bringing the truth out of her even before I had to ask."
She smiled. "Hey, let's go look at the river," she said to turn the attention off of herself. She walked over to the railing of the terrace.
Jay's heart was at peace. He felt he was ready to take a step forward. He said, "April, I am so impressed by your story The moment I first met you, You are truly a beautiful soul."
April smiled as she turned around to face Jay. Her eyes were full of light and innocence as she stood gazing at Jay.
"
Jay looked into her eyes and said, "Your walk is very similar to mine. We have a lot of the same values. I've been in a few relationships, but by the Emperor's power, he has kept me waiting for the right one. If not for his power, I would not have been able to wait, either. So don't be sad or ashamed of your path.
April's eyes were filled with tears as she smiled. They held hands. The gentle breeze was back, so mild and so pleasant. It was a holy moment as they prayed for each other silently in their hearts.
The Emperor smiled. The Prince embraced the Emperor. The Wise One was the breeze between April and Jay.
"Thank you for being obedient to the commitment throughout your life," Jay said, his eyes tearing up.
April reached out and dried his tears. They embraced. Nobody saw except the Trinity and the angels.
"" I want to keep doing this"said Jay.
"Yes!" April said.
They embraced again, and the wind blew all over them. They were in each other's embrace for a few seconds. They could feel each other's heartbeat. It was so pure.
Suddenly, April's phone vibrated on the table, and they were jolted. It was the song, "Believer," by Jake.
"Oh boy.Im sorry ! Just a second!" Jay gently dislodged as April ran to get the phone. It was her friend Claire. "Yes, I'm with Jay. We give Jay a drop off to his home?Okay, okay, we're coming. We're in the café," April said and ended the call.
Then she said to Jay, "It's my friend Claire she will be here in twenty minutes. We will go with her and you'll get a drop off home."
Jay thanked April.
Jay and April went back inside to their table. They clinked their lemonade glasses and drank. They were in love with each other already.
After finishing up, they went downstairs. April tried to pay the bill, but Jay put his left arm around her and gently held her aside while he took his wallet out with his right hand and paid the bill.
"Oh, Jay, I wanted this to be on me!" April said. "It's your first time in Seattle."
Jay said, "That's okay. You've already made my day in ways you cannot imagine and it was my pleasure."
Fireball was sitting right on top of the roof. He sat with Dab, an angel friend. Fireball said, "Jay and April are meant for each other. I can't wait to see this! The Emperor told me to take exclusive care of this situation."
"I think both of them have an excellent style of dressing. What say you? And the girl is very, very beautiful. The Trinity did get all the requirements totally right, eh?" Dab said."
Fireball answered, "Oh they sure did—every detail. I used to bring all the prayers to Blue primus. He got them all."
They laughed loudly under the clouds as they watched the two walk out of the café. When Jay opened the low picket fence gate to get out, Fireball somersaulted from the roof to the ground and walked behind Jay.
Dab looked on, waving at Fireball, saying, "I'll see you when I see you!"
Fireball waved back and gave a thumbs-up.
Jay looked at April in the eyes and said, "Can I tell you something?"
"Tell me," April said as she looked at him with her blue eyes.
"I love you, April."
April smiled as tears filled her eyes. "I love you more, Jay," she said in almost a whisper. They held hands.
Fireball started running around like a madman. He was dancing with the other angels. They were doing pop and locks and head spins. Fireball made an angel train with all the angels
Jay and April embraced each other, and for some time, they were oblivious to who was watching.
Brandon and Claire looked at them with admiration from the parked car. "Don't you think those two should totally be together?" Claire whispered to Brandon.
"Yep, absolutely," replied Brandon.
Jay and April walked to the car. After they got in, Claire introduced Jay to her fiancé, Brandon. He was a longhaired Michigan he was a musician, and Claire's business partner. Claire and Brandon were both very sweet polite souls they never brought up the topic about each other's chemistry.
Jay was dropped off home

The Trinity embraced as they lovingly looked at a snow globe on the table in the throne room of Blue primus. The Prince picked it up, gave it a swirl and held it up for all to see. They watched as the sparkles settled over the two figurines of Jay and April inside. The Emperor lovingly looked through the glass, he could see the Prince looking through the other side of the snow globe while the Wise One hovered inside of it, looking out at both. It was such a serene, beautiful moment.
A GOOD THING
Jay and April met a few times and had many phone conversations that week. They made plans to meet again that Saturday.
It was very cold and Jay loved walking in the cold, so he asked April to pick him up outside their church, which was their usual meeting point. He wore a black jacket and an olive green scarf. When she arrived, her hair was neatly brushed and fell in loose waves around her shoulders. She was dressed in a green tee shirt with a turquoise colored scarf around her neck, blue skinny jeans, and stilettos.
Jay said to April, "Wow, you look so beautiful. I love your long, blonde hair. Is that really your color?" Jay asked.
April laughed and said, "Yes, I'm naturally blonde like my parents. I love your hair too."
They hugged each other tightly and didn't want to leave each other's arms.
Jay looked at April's eyes and said, "I love you, April. I couldn't stop thinking about you."
April smiled as she buried her head in his shoulder and whispered, "I love you more, Jay. I haven't stopped talking to God about you. All I know is I have peace about you unlike I've had with any other guy."
Jay hugged her tightly and whispered, "I really couldn't sleep most of this week. I am so in love with you, and I'm so happy right now."
April kissed Jay on the cheek. Jay felt so pure as he looked into her blue eyes.
"I want you to meet my parents, okay? So, lunch is at home," April said.
"Oh wow! I'm excited, but nervous, too," Jay said.
"Don't worry, the Trinity has put us together," April said. "My parents are gonna love you. They're different."
"Thank you, love. I feel stronger now," Jay said.
They began to walk to April's car, holding hands.
As they got into the car, she asked, "Do you like music? What do you listen to?"
Jay smiled. "Yeah, I like listening to music mostly rock." He closed his eyes and smiled. He had not yet revealed to April that he was a singer.
"You know, even if you were a bum on the road, I'd still want you because you're the Lord's man," April said.
"Really? Oh, my!" Jay said as he looked at her, speechless. He remembered that many years ago, he had said, "Oh Emperor, I'm your man."
April saw him smile to himself and laughed. "Jay, you're so cute." She hugged him tightly.
Her perfume smelled so good. Jay just felt like he was in Blue primus. It was a very pure love.
Suddenly, the song "Lucky Love" by Ace of Base began to play, and April began to sing along.
"You know this song?" Jay asked, totally surprised.
"Yes, I have all the '90s collections. I love '90s music." She continued to sing.
She had such a lovely voice that was very much like Linn Berggren's of Ace of Base. Again, Jay didn't say a word about his singing. He wanted to test the intentions of her heart and see what she was drawn to in a man.
They reached April's home, where she lived with her parents, Anderson and Agnes. It was a beautiful home. April's parents welcomed Jay inside.
Jay put out his hand to greet them, saying, "It's a pleasure to meet you, sir and ma'am. I'm Jayden Hayath." Much to his surprise, each of them embraced him.
As he walked into the living room with April, her brothers Liam and Noah came down the stairs and introduced themselves. Her brothers were warm and very humble. They were a close-knit family, and her brothers were staying over for the weekend.
April's parents were a sweet humble couple. They were also good-looking in their sixties. He could tell where April got her looks from. They asked to hear Jay's background story and how he came to believe in the Prince.
Through the entire story, he hid the fact that he was a musician. He said he was looking for a restaurant job to work in a kitchen or as a manager.
Later, April sat down at the beautiful piano in the living room and began to play. Her parents and brothers began to sing, and the glorious presence of the Trinity filled the room. April had such a beautiful voice, and when Jay looked at her, her eyes were closed, but she smiled as she worshipped. As he looked around, he saw everyone lost in worship of the Trinity. There was such an amazing bliss. It was so comfortable for Jay to be around them and worship together with them. He closed his eyes. He slid from his seat on the couch to his knees. Jay sang very low, in an almost inaudible voice.
Soon after, April and her parents invited him into the dining room for lunch. There was some lovely jerk chicken, some salsa, Caesar salad, and some meats. They all held hands to give a prayer of thanks.
Then April said, "I have something to tell you all. Jay and I love each other."
April's parents smiled at Jay and said, "Welcome to the family."
Jay was shocked that her parents did not ask him about anything. He was waiting for some strange question, but they seemed to be alright.
Her mum came and held Jay's hand. "Feel at home, son."
Jay smiled, but he was shocked inside. "Is this for real? Why is this so easy? There seems to be so much peace. Emperor, you are here, but I hope this is not a dream."
April pulled one of Jay's dreadlocks. "Hey, mister, stop dreaming and eat."
Jay smiled as he looked at April. April's seat was opposite to Jay's. She served her parents, then she served Jay, and then she attended to her brothers. Jay waited for April.
"Please start, son," her father said.
"It's okay, I'll wait for April," Jay said.
"No! Jay, please start," April said.
But Jay waited, so April came in hurriedly and sat beside him. As they ate together, April's brothers also talked with Jay,
After they had dessert, they moved to the living room.
April's dad asked Jay, "Do you like the woods? Wanna come for a stroll?"
Jay suddenly felt déjà vu. He said, "Yes sir, sure."
"You don't have to call me sir. You can call me Andy. Just see me as a friend."
Then Jay remembered. It was just like what the Wise One said when he first met him in a dream. Jay froze for a moment with surprise. Then he dug his hands into his pockets and pondered this as they started walking.
April's dad talked to Jay. As they walked, he spoke a lot of things as a friend would. Jay was so comfortable.
April's dad said, "I know my daughter will not make a mistake in choosing a man. The Lord told me to teach her to wait for the right man with the right values and not rush in. So, when she brought you home, I knew that the Lord had made you both meet each other for his divine purpose, and that was an answer to the prayer of my wife and I. I want you to know that you have our blessings, and my wife and I are willing to give you all our support." He patted Jay's shoulder.
Jay smiled, but he looked away as two drops of tears fell from his eyes. This time, the whole situation was in the centre of the Emperor's will.
After a while, they came back to the house. April was sitting outside on the steps with her mother, waiting for them.
April got up, saying, "Oh my, Jay and Dad, where were you guys?"
Her dad hugged her as he said, "Oh, we just got carried away talking about things. Let's go inside."
April's parents wanted to talk to Jay and April. Agnes had read the Primus Script story about Rebekah meeting Isaac, and she said this reminded her of that.
Jay was still unable to believe that this was true. "How's it that there is no obstruction or opposition? "
The family spent time in conversation the whole afternoon till evening, and they asked him to stay over for the night. "Please stay over," April said. "My dad will drive you home tomorrow."They asked April to take Jay out to the garden for a walk. As they walked, April's parents watched them for a moment, and then they went in to talk.
Agnes said to her husband, "April and Jay are meant for each other. They should be together"
Andy nodded in agreement.
Outside, April and Jay held hands as the moonlight shone.
"My parents love you," April said. "I want you to know that you don't have to be afraid. I'm with you."
Jay's eyes filled with tears. She was reading his thoughts spot on. Jay knew this was seer and he couldn't hide even his thoughts from her.
April's dad called. "Sorry, guys, I didn't mean to disturb you both, but dinner is ready, and Mum is calling you both."
April smiled as she held Jay's hand and walked to her dad.
Her dad began to sing while looking at her and Jay. "Wise men say, 'Only fools rush in,' but I can't help falling in love with you."
"Dad!" April laughed.
Her dad began to laugh as he put his arm around her shoulder, expressing his consent. Jay loved what he saw, and he laughed too. Her dad took Jay's hand. April's mum had walked out to them. They gave Jay and April their blessing, saying, "May the good Lord bless you abundantly, and may your relationship be fruitful, and may you be awesome instruments of the Lord to bless people."
They walked back into the house.
They enjoyed their dinner, and April sang many more songs while her two brothers played guitar and percussion. Jay lover her voice .After some time, they all went to sleep.
That night, Jay had a dream. The Emperor came to him and said, "April is going to be your wife. Tend to her. Care for her. She will be a great support for you . I've chosen both of you for each other. Don't be afraid of your future. I am with you to give you both peace and a long, fruitful life."
Jay woke up suddenly. It was 7:00 a.m., and the rest of the house was asleep. He looked around. The sunlight had just come in. He knew the Emperor had visited him that night, but he kept the dream to himself.
MUSIC THE CONNECTOR
One Saturday evening, Jay and April were at a gathering at church. When it was over, April asked Jay to stay back with her at church until late evening as she had to rehearse with the church band for an upcoming event. She wanted Jay to hear her sing with the band.
She said to him, "I don't know; I just want you to sit here and enjoy yourself."
"Oh, sure, I'd love to hear you sing," Jay said.
Just before the rehearsal began, the other vocalist had sent a text that he had an emergency and could no longer make it, so his mic was on its stand all by itself and moved off to the side of the stage. The band started playing, and April began to sing into her mic. She sang and played the keyboard while facing the band, with the seats in the room to her left. Her beautiful voice was angelic and invited the very environment of Blue primus into the room. She closed her eyes as she sang the hymn, "Great Is Thy Faithfulness." The band was flowing effortlessly with her. They were all worshipping.
There was nobody sitting in the seats except Jay. Suddenly a group of angels, including Fireball, began to congregate toward the stage, attracted by the worship.
April was lost in worship. Suddenly, a male voice began to harmonize so smoothly with hers. April thought it was an angel. "Oh my gosh, am I hearing a voice?" she wondered. She continued singing, and the music flowed from her keyboard as she heard the male voice, so serene, yet so powerful. She looked at the seats, but the stage lights were so bright, and the rest of the room was dark, she couldn't see who was there.
As the music continued, she turned her face to her right, and to her astonishment, she saw Jay, the man whom she loved, the man whom the Lord had chosen for her. He was the singer! Nobody had noticed when the dreadlocked vocalist had walked onstage, unheard and unseen. She stood staring at him with her mouth wide open as his classic rock vocals soared to the rafters above. A couple teardrops fell from April's blue eyes onto the keys. She couldn't even sing or play anymore.
Jay opened his eyes. He looked at April and smiled.
April mouthed to him, "You never told me..."
Jay walked up to April. He took her hands together and held them. "We will sing together for the Emperor"
As Jay and April looked into each other's eyes, the lead guitarist shrugged and then winked at the drummer and showed a chord to the bass player. Then the band continued playing beautiful music.
April still could not speak. Her tears spoke for her as they rolled and fell onto the crimson carpet as Jay smiled sweetly at her.
April was praying, "Father, I was so scared to ask him if he was musically inclined! I tried everything to find out, but now I know for sure that you give the desires of my heart! You're such a loving father!" She hugged Jay tightly.
The musicians smiled at each other and kept playing.
Locked in each other's arms, April and Jay danced slowly to the music. It was such a divine moment.
Fireball and the other angels were lying prostrate to see the Trinity at work.
"How great are your works, Oh Emperor!" Fireball exclaimed.
"Music finally took the form of a woman, and that's you," Jay said as April laughed.
April understood that Jay had shown her he was a singer in the most humble way by joining her onstage. April marvelled at the ways of the Emperor.
