Chapter 99 - Helping each other out

All he felt was a light breeze that brushed past him, so fast he would not have noticed if he wasn't perceptive.

Axel looked closer and saw that in Hannah's place was now the rumpled sheet she was laying on and other than that, there was nothing else.

Axel creased his brows when he heard a light thud behind him. He turned around only to see Hannah sitting on the floor with her hands wrapped tightly around her stomach while she breathed heavily through her lips.

Axel was as surprised as anyone would be if they were in his place. The only question in his head right now was, 'How did she move that fast?!?'

A second ago, she was laying under him and now she was on the floor, her back pressed to the wall and panting like she just ran to escape a ferocious animal.

Axel fell weekly on the bed and sighed heavily. Suddenly, he laughed. He laughed so hard that his stomach began to hurt. Hannah came back to her senses and looked at Axel who was laughing at god knows what. Was he laughing at her?

Axel's laughter slowly died down and the room fell into complete silence. He sat up on the bed, his knees bent with his hands resting on them. He stared intently at Hannah but no matter how long he stared, he could not decipher the puzzle that was Hannah.

He did not even do anything extreme but her first reaction after he touched her only a little was to flee…?

He stood up from the bed and slowly made his way to Hannah but when she saw him, she raised her hand, gesturing him to stop before putting the hand back around her stomach. "Don't come closer!"

She looked frightened, like an innocent damsel being teased by a rouge. But would Axel stop? Of course not! This rouge was going to keep teasing this damsel till she learnt not to arouse a warm-blooded man and leave him hanging.

Axel walked closer to Hannah and finally stopped in front of her. She looked at him wide-eyed and she was still breathing through her lips. Hannah wanted to move away from him but she was already against the wall.

"What happened?" Axel asked her but Hannah only widened her eyes and kept trying to move from him like she didn't already realize that she was already at the wall.

"Why did you run? After what you just did…" Axel was still speaking when Hannah's abnormally loud voice sounded in his ear.

"What did I do? I was only trying to help you out. I did nothing!" She exclaimed as her eyes darted around, never meeting Axel's.

Axel wanted to laugh. 'Help me out? Of what? Your foolishness?'

"Then I should also help you out. You feel weird right? I can help you. That way, we will be helping each other out. Isn't that right?"

Hannah looked like she was thinking hard for a while before nodding firmly, "You are right. I feel really weird. My stomach feels weird. Like it's on fire but not burning". Hannah mused to herself, truly confused, before looking at Axel. "Do you feel that way too?"

"I don't". Axel answered flatly. As a man, all he had was an overly excited member that kept twitching at Hannah's words.

"Do you like it?" Axel asked and slowly tucked the locks of her hair behind her ear. Hannah was back to thinking again. It didn't feel bad. On the contrary, it felt okay, good even. When Axel licked and blew air on her stomach, she felt like she was electrocuted. The sensations shot up to her brain and for some seconds, it stopped working. She did not hate the feeling at all, but…

"I don't! "

"Why?" Axel asked with narrowed eyebrows.

"Think about it. You don't feel that way, so it must not be good right. If you don't feel weird, I should not feel weird either but I do. It's definitely not normal". Hannah answered and looked up at Axel as though expecting him to say something that supported her analysis.

Axel found himself gaping. Right now, he did not know what to say to this… creature sitting in front of him. At this rate, with this mentality, she was going to die celibate! He really wanted to open her head to see what monkeys existed in there.

"Change your clothes. We are leaving". Axel stood up and turned around, intending to leave. He did not know how much damage would be brought to his mental health if he kept staying next to this retard… interesting person.

Hannah looked at herself, fully aware that what she was wearing was decent enough, so why did Axel ask her to change?

"I am already dressed. We can leave". Hannah said and walked past Axel but he grabbed her hand and stopped her.

Hannah turned around and glared at him. Did this man have to restrict her movement every time?

"I am not changing. My clothes are perfectly fine".

Hannah was right. Those clothes were alright but to Axel, they were not. "If we go out with you dressed like this, people are going to run away from us". Axel said as his eyes moved up and down. She was dressed in black from head to toe. Of course, he never had any problem with the colour of her clothes in the past but now, he wanted her to change. Especially her shirt. He did not want to keep seeing her in that shirt and get reminded of what happened. It was going to cause damage to him.

"Let them run. I don't care". Hannah snorted and yanked her hand out of axels grip but he caught it again and whirled her around to face him. Without hesitating, Axel hooked a finger in the collar of her shirt and forcefully pulled it.

'Rippp'

That was the sound Hannah heard before she felt the cold air on her bare stomach. Axel now wore a wicked grin and he stared at her.

Hannah did not want to look down as she wanted to believe that that sound did not come from her shirt being ripped by Axel so she kept her eyes locked on his even though his eyes were now smiling.

As seconds passed, she finally looked down and saw what was left of her shirt. It was ripped in a straight line in the middle and was now more of a jacket than it was a shirt. Hannah almost blew off her top. She glared at Axel like he was her worst enemy in the world and she wanted nothing more than to kill him for what he just did.

Slowly, her face turned red. Axel didn't know if it was from embarrassment or anger or even a mixture of both but from how dense the atmosphere turned, he knew she was angry.

It would be better if he left right now.

He was not scared of her but avoiding danger was the wisest thing to do and right now, Hannah biwas the danger he must avoid.

He quietly moved away from her and walked to the door, the sound of his footsteps almost non-existent. Before he left the room, he said, "Wear something colourful, we are taking Penelope out for dinner", before leaving as fast as he could.

When he got to the living room, he heard an ear-piercing scream from Hannah's room before a series of curses followed. He was happy that he left the room else he would be lying almost dead on the floor right now.

Hannah was that angry.
