Hannah ran into the restroom and slammed the door with a bang. She was so angry and she felt her reasoning slowly slipping away. If Axel had not shown up at that time, she would have given Luke the worst death anyone could ever imagine.
She looked at herself in the mirror and saw her angry reflection in it. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. No, she shouldn't be like this. She has to calm down and think properly.
Turning the faucet of the tap, Hannah leaned forward and gathered the water in her curved palms. She continuously slashed the water on her face and placed her hand on both sides of the sink to support herself. She watched herself in the mirror as drops of water slid down her face and into the sink, Some sliding down her neck and disappearing into her clothes.
She was going to turn off the tap, but her hand on the tap slipped and it broke, making water gush out like a fountain. She tried to fix it but all her attempts were futile so she just stood there while the water drenched her from the top to her toes.
The anger that Hannah had tried so hard to suppress came crashing into her like waves of the ocean. First, she woke up with a brain-splitting headache and she had to drag her injured foot all around in the office, then she met that idiot of a man named Luke and now, she was drenched from head to toe with the water still pouring on her. To think it was still morning. Could this day get any worse?!
The door was pushed open and Hannah looked towards it to see Axel standing with an amused smirk on his face as he watched her bathing in the rain she just created.
Hannah closed her eyes, wondering if she had just jinxed herself.
Axel walked into the restroom, making the already small space cramped. Avoiding the water, he pressed his big palm over the broken tap and the water stopped pouring out.
Hannah sighed in relief but in the next second, she snapped, "Why are you here?" She glared at him in anger.
Axel didn't reply, he only moved his hand from the tap and water poured again, shocking Hannah and leaving him unaffected since he was standing at the side and Hannah was right in front of the tap.
He pressed his palm on the tap again and looked at Hannah who was already gritting her teeth and trying to catch her breath. "Not even a thank you?" He asked with raised eyebrows.
Seeing that Hannah wasn't going to respond to him, he sighed helplessly and removed his hand again but this time, Hannah was prepared and she quickly leaned forward and covered the tap with both her palms.
Axel chuckled seeing that she was trying so hard to keep her hand on the tap. "Stay here for a while, I'll be back". Saying that he turned around and left the restroom.
After a while, Axel came back holding a box in his hands. He closed the door and looked at hannahs hands that were held over the tal. The back of her palms was already red and water was dripping down her face, she was even breathing heavily like she just participated in a race, making Axel wonder if it was even water or sweat.
He opened the box and brought out a round, white doodad, and showed it to her. "Remove your hand". He said but Hannah stared at him confusedly without doing what he asked. "Do you want to stay like this all day?" Axel asked and twirled the white thing in his hand.
Hannah nodded in understanding and took a deep breath before removing her hand.
Once again, the fountain was open and the water poured on Hannah again. She waited for a while, thinking that Axel was going to fix it but after ten seconds and the water was still pouring on her, she moved forward and blocked the tap again.
Hannah heaved as she glared at Axel like she was going to kill him. She wanted to do that!
"What is wrong with you?!" Hannah yelled, her face red from anger and the shower.
Axel flashed her a wry smile and said, "I didn't say I was going to fix it. Next time, confirm the details before springing into action".
Hannah lowered her eyes. Axel was not just talking about what happened, he was talking about when she left the office to meet Luke without informing him.
"Now remove your hands". This time, Hannah looked at him skeptically but she still removed her hands. Water poured on her again and she waited for Axel to fix it but he didn't just like before. She covered the tap again and glared at Axel again.
If only she could kill this annoying man!
"You are keen on taking another shower today, aren't you?" Axel shook his head in disappointment. "I told you to confirm the details before acting. You are not so bright after all". Axel flicked her forehead hard and Hannah's hands instinctively flew to her forehead which earned her another shower session.
"Don't glare at me like that". Axel scolded as he tried not to laugh. Hannah's expression was comical. Her face was red from anger and frustration while her nostrils and ears flared. He could almost see smoke rising above her head. This was the first time he was seeing a change in her expression even though she had been with him for months. He found it amusing and for some unknown reason, he enjoyed watching her fuming.
"Are you going to fix it or not?"
"I will fix it".
"You promise?"
"Good. Just like that. Ask questions before acting". Axel praised her. "Remove your hand". He saw Hannah looking at him warily and he smiled. She was a really good student. "Don't worry, I promised, didn't I?"
Though hesitating, Hannah removed her hand and Axel quickly placed the white thing in the broken tap and the water stopped pouring out. It was still flowing in very little quantities but at most, it looked like the tap was leaking.
Hannah sighed in relief as she finally got out of that nightmare. She looked up to thank Axel but she saw that the man's eyes were already glued to her chest. She subconsciously looked down, following his line of sight, and noticed that her drenched clothes were sticking to her body, showing the outline of her bosom and all her curves.
"What are you looking at?! I will dig your eyes out!". She roared and wrapped her hand around her chest angrily
Axel kept staring unashamedly and his unwavering gaze was fixed on Hannah's curvy figure. His senses and eyes were clouded with lust and he showed no sign of looking away. Without thinking, he ordered in a low, magnetic voice "Strip".
"What?!" Hannah was utterly confused.
Realizing what he had said, Axel rubbed his forehead and sighed, suddenly regaining his senses. "I'm sorry. That came out wrong. I meant to take off your clothes".
Hannah eyed him and scoffed, "How is that any better? I'm not undressing in front of you!"
Axel's eyes unwillingly moved from her bosom to her face, "You are injured, take it off so I can treat it". He pointed to her arm and Hannah noticed the red patch on her wet shirt. The cut from her last fight had not fully healed yet. Not to mention, the damned assassin wounded her like he was some crazy dog!
Hannah looked away. "I will take care of it myself. Don't bother".
"Will you take it off or should I do it".
"I dare you!"
A smile crept up his lips and Axel slowly raised his hand and held the sides of her shirt, slowly releasing it from her skirt. "You think I don't dare?"
