*Luke's POV*
It was strange to be with her, like we are tied by a thread of fate from getting distant on each other. Zane's sister, Ali, must be oblivious about our relationship.
I don't even know what we are, confusion and complications are too much. But all we do is hang out and enjoy quality time together. I hope she is happy because based on her facial expression, she is always impartial and expressionless with her kuudere face.
Treating me differently than the others, am I supposed to be special to her? I wouldn't know. I want to clear things up but couldn't find the day to find the opportunity to talk to. She always knocks on the door, seeing her beauty in the morning, it always gives me happiness just by imagining it. While drinking a coffee, she can be a bit clingy all of a sudden. Since she is here, I should speak about our relationship as soon as possible. But what should I say about her? All of my thoughts around my empty head continues to flood my emotions to her. I want her but I shouldn't be too possessive about her. Now that his thoughts have come across in the narration, all he needs is to talk things out with Ali.
*Luke's POV ended*
A knock on the door was heard at 9 pm, while Luke is busy sketching his next chapters in his novels, he was shocked to hear an instant knock but he already knows who that was. Opening the door sees Ali in the doorstep with her cute casual clothes and expressionless smile. She greets Luke with delight as Luke also greeted back.
"Good morning, Luke."
"Good morning as well, Ali."
"What are you doing?"
"Just finding a new topic about my novel, that's all."
"I see. Should I come in?"
"Sure sure, I can ask you some questions along the way, can I?"
"Sure thing." While it was awkward to ask her about their relationship, Ali comes in to his house, it was a bit messy from the sink full of dirty plates, utensils, and glasses, it was embarrassing and at the same time comfortable to let someone in at the state of conditions of his house was represented.
"So what do you want to know, Luke?" With her cynical expression and candid gesture, Luke was a bit concerned on what would have happened if he asks this question to her, maybe it would affect their friendship.
"Ummm, Ali... What do you think about me? Am I good enough to be your friend because all I can feel... is that I want you more... you know. Like I want to be more than friends. Please don't laugh at me! I am too shy to ask this." As Luke stares at Ali with her oblivious state, Luke was completely profound by his own feelings.
"What do you mean by that, Luke? Why are you so jittery about that question? I thought we were already in a relationship." With her sudden reply to Luke, he soon realized that all this time she thought they were already in that relationship.
"I see... I thought we were in a Platonic relationship. Hehehe."
"So that's why you couldn't ask to date me even though we were already together."
"So... do you like me as well, Ali?" Slowly blushing from her expressionless smile. She goes,
"I love you, Luke." Suddenly, the mood was too romantic to vibe with as Luke was followed with an honest smile.
"Hehe I see. I love you too, Ali."
"Can I lie down on your lap?" Ali asks Luke for permission as she seeks warmth and rest.
"Su...sure." Ali gently lies down at his lap as she was surprised to feel how comfortable it is to rest at his lap. It was memorable as Luke stares at Ali's sleeping face. Feeling kinda like a large cat was sleeping at his thighs to be honest.
Luke begins to write his novel as Ali was sleeping, for over 7 hours of working, Luke was able to finish his first three chapters.
"Gonna change of pace for once. Ali? Are you awake?"
"I'm tired... Let me embrace your body, Luke." Luke tries to put Ali in Luke's bed as he wanted to buy some dinner for tonight at the Convenience store. Ali was forced to sleep alone at his bed while going there, the sunset was magnificent as the color of the sky was orange. The perfect feeling of calmness as Luke finally goes inside the convenience store. Finished buying the stuffs he needs, he goes outside and sees Alice in the side of the parking spot of the store, eating an ice cream as she was pitiful to watch her cry.
"What's wrong, Alice? What are you doing here?" Luke wonders why is this happening to her.
"Oh Luke, you're here. Nothing just crying my feelings out today, I couldn't get over with Zane's date with Sofia."
"I see, so what do you plan on doing next? Since Sofia had made her first move. You should plan on Zane because she might take him away from you since she has a chance on him." Alice cries as wailing at the convenience store out of jealousy and anxiety. Luke can't do anything but to make her feel better, giving her ideas in order to help Alice on her love life.
"Why don't you come over on my house and help you get a nice date with him?"
"You really mean it?! You'll help me out?"
"Yes, I even had Ali to help you out."
"That would be wonderful." After that, they went to Luke's house to prepare a plan for Zane and Alice's soon date. While opening the door, they see Ali washing dishes and cleaning the room of Luke. Luke hurriedly runs at her and tries to help her out.
"You don't have to clean my room for me."
"Can't help it, also I'm done sleeping alone. It's completely different when I sleep with you."
"Uhmmm, here's my friend Alice. Here's my girlfriend, Ali also known as Zane's sister."
"Do you remember me Ali?' Alice questions Ali about their meeting before.
"I can remember some of the things we met before, Alice. You're my big brother's classmate on middle school right?"
"Yes." Alice was so gladly to meet her again as Luke tries to settle this plan at the table near his bed. They all sat down and have a little chat for a while then proceeds to their plan.
"So, Ali about this. Alice and I have prepared a plan that you might add later."
"You mean having a date with my big brother Zane? I see, I can catch up now. So you really want my listless brother on having a date with you?"
"Well he already had a date with someone so..."
"Alright. I know all his favourites stores, foods, movie sets, and more. But I can only share if you gives us a trade."
"Trade?" Alice wonders.
"Yes, we hope we could get a double date by that time."
"Ali?! You really want to have a date at this time?"
"Won't be a great idea to blend with more people? And besides, it took too long before we have our first date."
"Well it's because we were confused about our relationship for a long time."
"Well, won't you agree, Alice?"
"Sure thing. You're helping me after all."
"That's settles, first we should go on the fashion boutique to get you some refreshing clothes."
"Alright fashion hahaha. Let's go."
They all went to a nearby fashion boutique to get some clothes for their date. As they rummage and picked clothes they like and look good on it, they have at least 5 choices to go. Each time they face the mirror to make sure they look fashionable. Only the two has to judge Alice. While they have fun picking their own clothes by that time.
Up to the last change of clothes, Alice shows up with a beautiful physique and clothes such as being aesthetic.
"That's a perfect garment for you."
"This is great. Now we should change your hairstyle. Let's go to a beauty salon." As they went to a parlor, they see some homosexual people prepared as they were expert at making your hair fabulous.
"Hello Madame, what kind of hair are we going to make?" One of the homosexual people asks Alice. Alice on the other hand is indecisive at making choices when she was abruptly asks. Then suddenly, Ali came by and take control of the situation.
"She will have a no. 13 as presented at your choice."
"Alright then." After for an hour and a half, they were finished and so Alice became more beautiful than before. Just to put a little bit of make up from home would make her far charming.
"One last thing, we must ask Zane on that date we will have." Suddenly a ring has set on Zane's name at Alice's phone.
"Go on answer it." Luke says to Alice.
"Alright then!" She gently pressed the call button as preparing for her permission on Zane.
"Alice, where are you right now?"
"I'm with Luke and Ali today."
"I see, I thought you run away."
"Zane."
"Yes?"
"I was hoping... if we could have... a date for tomorrow." After a moment of silence, Zane answers.
"I see. Sure. Since it was my free time tomorrow." Inside Alice was filled with explosion and blasts of fire from within like almost excitement from his answer.
"So where are we headed?"
"A movie perhaps and casual stroll at a park."
"Alright then. Are you gonna sleep at Luke's place?"
"Yes."
"Okay. Let's meet at Shibuya City."
"See you!" Alice jumps from excitement.
"I guess we were successful. All that's left is to go back at Luke's place." And so they slept and woke up at 7 am to prepare their outfits for tomorrow.
