It was an easy next few days and school started tomorrow. Sloan and Derek signed up for school and Reg left to go home. I eventually learned that they lived in Alaska and their pack was more then a hundred families. They lived on a mountain and that the trees grew way taller then here. I hadn't offered to do anything else with Derek and he hadn't asked either. He barely kissed me and his main go to was snuggling into my neck. I didn't want to push him and end up fighting again. If i was honest I wasn't as attracted to him after the whole mean in my face Alpha parade. I was nervous to finish school and leave my family behind.
As I fell asleep I tried to picture what his home look liked. When my alarm went off Derek jumped up and dressed. "We have to go to the guidance counselor and request one of us be in all your classes." I dressed in a green wrap dress and a ivory sweater. I braided my hair and Derek paused. "You look to beautiful, you should change." I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bag.
We met Sloan and I walked to the bus stop. "What are you doing?" I pointed to the bus. "Going to school." He grumbled walking away from my Jeep. "I thought you drove? I can drive." Derek said as the bus pulled up. "Hey Mr. Call these are my new friends Sloan and Derek." He held out his hands as I slipped in the seat behind him. "How did you guys meet?" He asked as he shut the doors. "They where passing through, and my Aunt talked them into staying." Mr. Call glanced in the mirror. "Well at least you have back up now against those three hoodlums." I grabbed Derek's arm. "Yeah, I just hope their suspension taught them something." Derek and Sloan looked at me.
"Guess I forgot to tell you about that huh?" Mr. Call pulled up tonthe school and the boys tore off the bus. "There just really excited." I said as I exited the bus too. "Relax before you turn and I'll show you them." He took a deep breath and I grabbed Sloans arm too. I showed them what I went through each day and then the hair that Liam glued to the chair. I showed them the shit show of a meeting and then I let go of their arm. They mind linked one another and Sloan took off ahead of us. "No one better touch you today." Grumbled Derek as he clutched my arm a little tight.
We made our way to the office and then to my locker. I stepped to the right as water balloons fell from my locker. Splashing my feet. "Are you serious?" Derek roared as I looked to see his boots wet. "Sorry should have warned you." He shook his head and started looking around. His gaze landing on Liam and his friends. "I'm gonna kill him." Derek said as I grabbed his arm. "The more attention you give him the worse it will be. I have a few more months. Come on."
I grabbed my books and showed Derek to our first period class. "How do you live like this?" After second period he passed me to Sloan until lunch. At lunch he had to use the rest room and someone came up behind me covering my mouth. Two others grabbed my legs, I looked up to see Liam. I kicked and screamed as they tied me to a shower. Liam turned the cold water on and faced it towards me.
"You bitch got your sister sent off, and now I don't get laid. So I think I'll just take it from you." I broke through some of the ropes and calmed myself down. My mouth had a rag stuffed in it and I couldn't yell. Liam slid his hand up my leg and I tried to yell. I used my other leg to kick him sending him backwards. "This is going to far man." One of the boys said as Liam got up off the tile and grabbed my hips. "Leave then, both of you."
They turned to leave and I screamed as he untied my dress. I freed my hands and I scratched his face. "Get off me you slimeball." I closed my dress and tied it closed before grabbing a towel and walking out. Derek rounded the corner holding one boy by his ear. "Look man there she is." He dropped the kids and kicked him sending him down the hallway. He glanced down at me and searched me for wounds. "I'm okay just going to get dry clothes. He huffed and inhaled. "He touched you."
It wasn't a question and Derek walked past me into the locker room. "You are a disgusting person Liam Merchant. I see my girl scratched your face up pretty good." I heard a bang. "Since you think it's fun to rough someone up why don't you try and rough me up?" Another bang. "This is a warning, the next time you cross me or think of going near Paisley think off this moment and don't. Keep your hands to yourself, dont even mutter her name. Or I'll find you." Another bang sounded and
Derek walked out of the locker room. "Let's go get you clothes." He huffed as we hurried down the hall. We walked in silence and I took his hand. He pulled away and it hurt, but I ignored him and went to the lost and found. I grabbed black shorts and a green hoodie. I grabbed a black t-shirt for Derek. "Here there'd blood on your shirt. I said as I handed it to him. "There's blood on your dress and hand." He quipped as I looked down. "Damn I said as I wiped it on the towel. I dressed in the bathroom and we hurried to class.
Sloan's eyes grew wide as I walked in. "I'm in deep shit are you okay Luna?" I nodded and took the seat next to him. "Why are you in trouble?" He nodded towards the door where Derek stood. "He's pissed I left you and if I didn't what ever happened wouldn't have." I took a deep breath and opened my book. "I'm okay though and I got away." I whispered as Sloan leaned foward. "Away before he what." He fogged over and turned white. "Oh shit He tried to..." Sloan turned green. "I'm fine." He raised his hand and the teacher called on him. "I don't feel so well can I go to the nurse?"
The teacher nodded and he got up and walked outside the classroom. She continued with the lesson and the bell rang. When I walked out the principal was waiting for me. "Come on Ms. Sterling." She said as we walked toward her office. I entered seeing Derek and Liam in the office. "Did you scratch Mr. Merchant's face? Ms. Sterling?" I looked over at Liam who held a towel up to his face. He pulled it off revealing deep claw marks.
"He tried to rape me, and yes I got free and scratched him to escape." Ms. Beads shook her head. "Watch the cameras from earlier. You will see him and two other boys carry me to the locker room. After they tied me up and turned the water on. He ran his hand up my leg and said I was going to stand in for my sister." Derek groweled and turned to Liam. I walked quickly to stand behind him. "Derek came to find me, but I had already escaped and apparently caught his face pretty good." Liam screamed. "My parents are going to sue this school if you don't suspend her." Ms. Beads held her pearl necklace and dialed the board and then the police. She radioed the front office to call our parents and we sat there.
My parents arrived first, my Mom in Uniform. Then Liam's parents. His dad in a suit and his mom wearing a pencil skirt and white blouse. Ms. Beads pulled up the cameras and showed the parents. "Send my daughters diploma to us, she's done here. Have her take her finals now, I'm sure she will pass and let her leave." The Merchant's laughed. "What ever happened in that locker room we will never know. She could be lying. My boy would never do that, and I am going to sue the school and you all for defamation of character." Mr. Merchant Boomed.
My Dad stepped foward putting a hand on Derek's shoulder. "Call the other two boys down here. They know the truth." The officer getting caught up agreed and the two boys from earlier came in. "We don't want any problems." Said the one Derek pulled by the ear. "Then tell them the truth." Derek snarled and I I tightened my grip.
The other boy stepped up. "Okay we helped Liam grab her sure, but it got dark quick. He turned the shower on her and threatened to do stuff to her cause she had her sister sent away. Jeff spoke up and he told us to leave, so we did." Ms. Bead stood up and hit her desk. "And you left here there tied up soaking wet to deal with the man on her own." They nodded and she let out a exasperating gasp.
"Paisley go home. Come in tomorrow morning and I'll have your tests ready. Mr. and Mrs. Merchant you are lucky she didn't kill him. Take your son and clean him up. I'm kicking him out of this school for good. He can finish his senior year next year and in a different school." Mr. Merchant stood up and the officer stopped him. "Mam." The officer asked looking at me. "Do you want to press charges. It will be an open and shut case. He'll be put away." My Mom and Derek nodded. My Dad stayed still.
"Yeah I'll press charges." He nodded and handcuffed Liam. "No way. She's lying! I can't go to jail." His mother sobbed as she ran after them and his Dad pointed a finger at me. "I'm gonna spin this in court. He'll go free." He said and Derek stood following him out. "Ms. Sterling." I turned to Ms. Beads who stood behind her desk with a pitiful look. "Take your Dad and go empty your locker. When you come in tomorrow come to my office we will test in here."
I nodded and my Dad followed me. "You okay?" I nodded and he opened my locker. I pushed him out of the way before shaving cream flew out. "What the fuck." He said as I waited and grabbed my books. I took them out of my locker and unzipped the bags. I gave him my text books and I slipped the note books into my bag. He shook his head as we walked down the hall. "They are all in on it huh?" I nodded and he walked the books to the front office.
