"There is no one in the village." Qiu Shou told Qiu Shisi, Ke Lin, and Qiu Lie when his 'pets' returned after they (the pets) checked the village to see if there were any people in there, especially the enemies, just in case there were, as a deterring formation was set up that made them go around in circles if not for Qiu Lie noticing it. "Not even a soul…" he added as his brows knitted.
"Really?" Ke Lin was surprised when he heard what Qiu Shou said. "Even the villagers?" he asked. Seeing the other nod, he frowned. "So, the villagers might really have been killed?" he said, feeling indignant for the villagers.
"I don't know. Maybe." Qiu Shou answered. He is feeling uncertain.
Qiu Shisi looked at the uncertain expression on his face. However, he didn't say anything since he was pondering over something, which Qiu Shou might have also realized like him.
