"Meng Xing didn't come here?" Lin Ze was surprised when he heard the servant's answer after he asked if Meng Xing had come here to Huichen.
It was already afternoon and Lin Ze planned to have a talk with Meng Xing to discuss the flower seller Ah Yu who he is suspicious of.
The servant nodded. "Yes, Officer Lin." He answered.
Lin Ze's brows knitted. He knows that Meng Xing returned to his home this morning after his friend picked him up, but he thought that Meng Xing would come here today in Huichen to ask if there was already an update regarding his missing 'friend', as well as the poison in his body.
