"Oh my god! They really looked like they are still alive!" one of the Huichen members exclaimed in shock when they finally reached the location and saw the corpses that 'returned to life' as what a witness had seen last night!
The witness is a said treasure hunter. Last night, he went to the Hundred Treasure Caves as usual to find some treasures. Of course, treasures are not easily found not to mention that there would be traps laid by the ancestors or the original owners so that their treasures can't be stolen after their deaths. So, treasure hunters naturally have trained themselves for all kinds of traps.
And so is Huichen, who is the jack of all trades – the master of none, except in information gathering.
Right before all of them are rows of corpses lying on the ground. It is weird to say that the corpses looked 'alive' since they are already dead. But right now, this is what they see.
