"One thousand silver for a Western beaded necklace inlaid with different kinds of gems! Going once - !" the auctioneer shouted as he looked around the hall to see if there were any bidders who wanted to bid for the item, too. "Going twice - !" he said and was about to close the bid for the item but a bidder shouted as he was just about to close the bid.
"One thousand and five hundred!" someone yelled as they raised their number, which was thirty-one.
The other bidders clapped as they looked at the person. It was a royalty from a small kingdom in the north who came with his concubine. The item definitely would go into his concubine's hands. But they didn't say anything since the item was just to warm up the atmosphere. The valuable items have not yet been shown, so they let the other bidders who are not of comparable wealth to them bid for these starting items.
