"Are you okay?"
For obvious reasons, this question sounded strange to my ears and even more strange to my mind.
The night had come and I only wanted to stare at the sky, watching the stars twinkle and the half moonshine. I lay flat at the top of the mountain before Ethan came sitting beside me.
"I am okay." I turned my face to him with a smile.
"Another regret?" He inquired.
"No. Stop that." I replied.
"The intention wasn't to hurt you, I just need to be sure I'm being slow enough." He said,
"Perhaps I am the one who needs to take it slow with myself," I told him.
He smiled.
"Then what bothers you?" He asked,
"You are blocking me out of your mind." He added.
"I don't want you saying what I know you would say," I told him.
"I thought we were done being judgemental?"
"Ethan, isn't it obvious? I miss being human. I never imagined I would be saying this but I miss being human so much." I told him.
