Chapter 21 - The Ignorant Sorceress

Two decades Later, in the territory of Beldam.

"Someone was found dead again in our territory, when will all the crimes that are happening in our area end?" Celeste mentioned Yna's friend since they were children, during the times when the woman was mourning because of the death of her father, she was the only one who was always with her, until these moments Yna was still deeply in pain when loss of her father and all that will be noticed because of the size of its change.

It seems that the size of her change, she changes so much, she became more stubborn, but what is new is that she was no longer able to fight and pursue her father's desire.

At this moment, the ruler of Beldam is her mother who has been blinded in her right eye due to the encounter with the werewolves twenty years ago. Instead of Yna being the leader, she never wanted it, the trauma she felt because of the loss of her father was too much and she did not want that to happen again.

The trauma that she received was too much, and everything that her father taught her when she was a child, she has buried in oblivion. She prefers to live quietly and peacefully away from the reality that hurts her heart. Until this moment, she still remembers every moment and memory that she and her father had together. The sadness, pain and longing she feels will probably never be removed, as long as it remains in her heart and mind.

She decided to live in the forest in Beldam, away from her mother, she wanted to live alone because she knew that only there she could feel true happiness. She felt that once she could no longer see what reminded her of her father's memories she would somehow be okay. She often visits her mother in their territory but Yolanda still feels that her daughter is still very far from her. Since that tragedy happened when Yolanda saw it, Yna immediately ran to where she was and made a big shield to save her mother and soon it enabled one of her powers to make her and her mother disappear like a bubble in an instant, which caused them to disappear from that place but still that was not the end of everything.

Until this moment, they are still not silenced by the past, it seems that everything happened like it was just yesterday. It seemed that every day there were dying witches in their territory for twenty years, they were not silenced, it seemed that the werewolves were still punishing her father, by reducing the number of people in its territory.

Instead of stepping in and helping bring justice to whoever killed them, she did nothing. She was discouraged, and she completely lost confidence in herself, she was not able to save her father from death before, and she was not able to prevent the arrow from hitting her mother's eye which caused her to become blind.

After that happened, Yna immediately blamed herself, because she was unable to save the two people she valued so much in her life.

She felt that she was the one who brought disaster to her family, if only she had not followed her father into the Hyena's territory she would surely still be alive at this moment, maybe she would still be with him. And if she had not been stubborn her mother would not have worried and gone out of their territory to look for her to make sure she would not be blinded if she did not put her stubbornness first.

"Hey!" Celeste loudly mentioned that it was as if she was getting the attention of her friend Yna because she had been in a daze for a while, which was a lil bit wrong, because if she estimated that she had probably not been herself for almost twenty years.

Sometimes Celeste asks herself why she became friends with Yna when she is always out of her mind and seems to be ignorant of everything and what is happening around her. But this is probably the reason why God gave her long patience because she knows that if she has short patience she and Yna will definitely not get along, and maybe she left it in the air a long time ago.

She took a deep breath when she still could not get Yna's attention because she was still looking away

"Yna!!" At that time, Celeste said her friend's name more loudly, and as if she got her attention, she was about to speak again to say what she wanted to say when suddenly Yna spoke all of a sudden.

"I am fine, these past few days I haven't been able to visit my mother because the weather has gotten worse, it's been raining a lot, maybe there's a black witch playing with the weather at the moment. The use of black magic of the witches, do you notice? If only my father was here this would never have happened, then all of Beldam was peaceful and no one disobeyed his orders to use their power for evil. But now it seems nothing they are afraid. it seems they no longer respect my mother as their new leader because of the fact that she is viewed weak, and blind literally. Sometimes I feel sorry for my mother. But that's it, I am fine I just can not help but be sad somehow because you know that's it—"

Yna could not continue what she wanted to say when Celeste suddenly hit her because of what she was saying that was far from her question. Immediately, Celeste took a deep breath and stopped laughing, because her friend was often like this, when he always thought far away and was surprised by what he would say until it had no end.

"You know I don't know what else I can feel." Yna mentioned at the same time as she took a deep breath again, she saw that her friend's face was confused at that moment, she was about to speak again all of a sudden...

"An arrow." Celeste mentioned that when she saw an arrow suddenly hit the tree behind them, she immediately looked at Yna with fear because she knew it was from the werewolves but at that moment she believed that her friend was not in her own again.
