"beep" "beep" "beep" ,WHAMMM! slamming his hand sleepily on the button to the source of noise. Yuan peered at the alarm clock as if hail would rain down on it. as if to say not another day of hell. my name is Yuan di Duan and this is my rise to power but, let me start from where it all began.
" hey, Yuan Duan did you hear about the new Substitute professor? heard she's a real looker."
"I did not pay too much attention "
"boring dude, is that how you treat your best friend"
"dude stop being so mellow dramatic yu shen"
"anyways I heard she has a rare skill and it's top tier too"
"oh, what skill does she have?"
"I heard it's a rare fire aspect type. don't know the details yet though. I heard she is gonna give us a demonstration though." said, yu shen"
"I'll just be ready for the second semester to end I don't really have any interest in that"
being in the second semester of collage all over again has been the hardest and not because I failed. but, because I've gone back in time. that's right like some twist of fate I got hit by a car, died, and was reborn just as I found the ultimate skill. for some reason that very skill has stayed with me. I spent 10 years trying to find this skill only to die at the hands of those who betrayed me. I won't go down this time without a fight.
yuan duan walked to his assigned seat near the back. he woud rather not bring too much attention to himself as he wanted to keep as low profile a possible. he had been too busy planning is next move to hear the new professor call his name.
"yuan duan, is there a reason you feel the need to daydream in my class?"
she says as she stares deeply at him.if looks coulld kill i'd be dead.
"sorry professor, i barely got any sleep last night working on my presentation for the end of the semester."
"thats no excuse to sleep while in my class now come up here and show me the three principals of energy aura and its fundamental uses."
as she said this the whole class giggles and sneers at him. because in their eyes he was trash. but what they did not know is, that was the old him. today, he would begin too enact his master plan to not only get his revenge but to show who held the most power. standing before the blackboard he thinks back to that day. in his past he was mercilessly teased and laughed at. he was not going to allow such a thing to happen again. slowly he begins to jot down with ease. as he does so he states the first principal of energy aura.
"one, aura is apart of everything and around us at all times."
"two, in order to use aura one must have a root or core."
"three, cultivation and training is to be used together in order to increase ones own aura."
"aura or energy is used in fighting,medical,forging and pill making. there are five main types of aura. earth,air,water,fire and lightening. and four more rare ones light,dark,space and time."
"did i miss anything professor?" yuan duan asks."
"no, go back to your desk and don't let me catch you sleeping in class again."
"yes ma'am, he says smirking."
the class was now dead silent as he walked passed.
after class he headed straight for the library not wanting to waste anymore time then needed. he knew it was only a matter of time before the great disaster began. it was an event he knew about all too well.one he woud never forget. with fire and other elements involved wreaking havoc across the whole world. were it not for the fact he had been powerless up until his death his sister and lover would never have suffered the way they did. he woud not allow such a future to come to pass. of that he was certain.
as he arrives at the main entrance of the library he notices his least favorite gang of people who bullied him in his past life. as he walked ast them he ignored their jeers and shouting insults doing his best to lay low for now. knowing he would have his day it no longer bothered him. he knew they would not try anything with the large burly men who were posted at the doors to the library. so he was not bothered by the noise. his one and only focus was to ensure he was strong enough to help him and those he cared most about survive the coming slaughter that was the void world opening. that was only the begining the worst had yet to happen before he died.
